I am in the same boat you are. I was wondering about this last night and googled "adopt a family programs" in my state. One that came up was volunteers of america. and of course the salvation army helps too. try looking them up in your state and see what programs they provide. Good Luck to you andI hope you have a good christmas this year.

Go to the site below. There is a button for a Toy request. It is a great program sponsered by the US Marines. They can match your daughter and an age/gender toy. Have a Merry Christmas. Check also with local churches and see about getting all the fixings for a great dinner.

You can try churches in your area. I went through bad times several years ago and a couple of churches helped with food and Christmas gifts for the children. God Bless you and family and Good Luck!

Toys for Tots.
Here where I live we have what's called Tree of Joy.
Up North here in Oregon, there is something called Adopt a family. Never heard of it until this weekend. My friends sister is going to put my friend and her daughters name in cause my friend has no money coming in due to having to take her maternity leave early.
Also we have the Elks that do food baskets and toys.

Go to social services they should have a list of where you can sign up for angel trees or the like. I know this is something that works wonderfully. You may even get other ideas for a happy holiday.

Call social services and ask what services or programs they have for Christmas that you might qualify for. You can also contact the salvation army to see if you qualify for their Angel Tree program.

Red Cross usually has stuff for families in poverty. Goodwill sometimes has nice stuff. Churches, flea markets, second hand stores, to name a few places to try.

you're very blessed to have him pay baby help and deliver her presents on her birthday ect.. many fathers wont pay baby help and whilst ordered to realize this fail even then to realize this. My sons father won't deliver him presents in any respect and in common terms will pay help simply by fact he has been ordered to by the courts. At some point I additionally felt I owed him something for baby help yet have on condition that realised that on the tip of the day he's the daddy and that he needs to step as much as the plate and make contributions to the upbringing of his baby and that by paying mainenence he's getting off gently simply by fact something of the accountability of elevating my son has fallen on my shoulders and isn't undemanding for a guy or woman who's on my own to do. in case you experience you like to deliver a birthday card out of your daughter to him then gain this given which you wish him to stay linked on your daughter and not given which you experience you owe him something, given which you do no longer owe him something. He quite owes you massive time for leaving at the back of you and your baby. interior the period in-between attempt to get section time employment and as quickly as you have complete analyzing get your self as independant as attainable. you won't be able to count number soley on his maintenence as there could come a time the place he would be no longer able to pay ( I pray this would possibly not ensue) and you will have not got any earnings to take care of you.
