Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri has been studying snow-capped mountains and discovered that they conclusively disprove evolution. The reason for this is because if evolution were true, the mountains wouldn't have any snow on them.

Snow is made of water, and mountains such as the Himalayas exceed heights of 30,000 feet. So how did the water get up there? The only explanation is through a global flood.

Scientists will tell you it's because of evaporation, but we all know evaporation is just a myth perpetrated by atheist scientists who want to deny God's divine control of the water cycle.

Since evaporation is a myth, the only way for the water to get on top of the mountains is through a global flood. Therefore, Noah's Ark is a true story. Since that one part of the Bible is true, the rest of the Bible must also be literally true. Since the Bible is true, evolution must be false.

So how do you evolutionists explain snow-covered mountains?

My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home and he has decided to invited his dad, step-mom, and step-sister (who is about 13) over for Christmas dinner.
I have never cooked Christmas dinner before and I am nervous. I don't really want to go with the traditional turkey and ham since there will only be 5 of us, so I need ideas of what to make and side dishes. I am open to any ideas.

Jesus is called the 2nd Adam. Though that would be very bad news if it were true. Since Adam helped get us into this mess and I fail to see how Jesus got us out of the mess. Now that I think about it maybe Jesus was the 2nd Adam.
Jesus was supposed to be the 2nd Abel. That plan failed. Now what? Sit and pretend it is all OK.

Can someone please tell me y disease and natural disasters exist in the world if God loves us so much.

also y people actually believe that symbolically eating the flesh of a magical jewish zombie will grant everlasting life.

also y the bible(the so called 'perfect' word of God) has so many contradictions and clear immoralities.

also why whenever i try to ask someone these questions they either get aggressive and insecure.

or just repeatedly redefine 'God's love' or 'God' or 'The word of God' or anything else they can think of.

also i am confused as to how many religious scholars (e.g. Thomas Aquinas etc.) state that survival for ON EARTH it is fundamental to believe in God.

Please, without redefining anything, give me some explanations.

She is driving me nuts.She stops me whenever she sees me out playing with my youngest son,doing yardwork,etc...and tells me all about her new 'things'--car,carpeting,front door,windows,sofa,etc.The list goes on and on.I am a struggling single mom who can't afford anything new,and she knows that.The most irritating thing of all is that she is a 'born again' Christian who wants me to go to her church.I thought she was not supposed to be materialistic if she had 'been saved'.The last time she told me about her new stuff,I said simply,"Congratulations...now I have to go visit my sick dad in the hospital."...and walked away.She did not get the hint,however,and continues her SH!T!!

Hello, I am a VERY big christmas person. I would put up my tree now if I could. Anyway, me and hubby just bought a house..we have a 4 month old son. Obviously, we're tight on money. People dont realise but jws LOVE their kids like everyone else. and believe in the ressurection hope.The commandment is the bible is abstain from blood as its sacred. to God. My mate was a jw but his parents werent. he was sick went into a coma and his parents asked for a emergency blood transfusion WITHOUT his consent which he would NOT have agreed to. he DIED because the blood given to him was infected!! If he would have had the alternatives the embarrased doctor said he would HAVE lived!!!! Theyre are tons of other blood alternatives out there that they use that are much cleaner and continously save thousands of jw's lives and other peoples lives day in day out. Pity the press never write that! Whoever say jw;s let their kids die cos their brainwashed is unbelievably ignorant!!

When the Septuagint has a different translation from lets say a Hebrew to English Tanakh(JPS), which one is right?? What about Septuagint vs KJV??

My opinion is that the Septuagint is probably wrong in cases where there is a disagreement in translation because in my case it is translating from Hebrew to Greek to English. What do you think??
