I think both would be bothersome. Are your dogs a herding breed of dog? My dog, too, hates anything on wheels. I got a personal trainer for him because he'd go nuts anytime he saw a bike, motorcycle, skateboard, scooter (he's okay with cars, though) and she said it's a herding breed thing (my dog is a collie). She 'flooded' him with exposure to bikes and skateboards, and he tolerates them quietly now. Maybe a personal trainer would work for you? It only took mine one hour long session to cure him!

I would check the laws to see if driving a dirt bike in a residential area is even legal. Even if it is legal, there are limitations on how much noise your neighbors are allowed to make. Just as dog owners can be faulted for dogs barking continuously, dirt bike noise is also a nuisance and your neighbors could probably be fined for it. Good luck...I thought MY neighbors were noisy!
Oh, I forgot...you should first approach your neighbors and tell them their noise is driving you and your dogs crazy...maybe they'll make some concessions. If not, go the legal route.

Alright, just kindly go to your neighbor and say, hey guys would you mind only riding those maybe an hour a day because I already had animal control come to my house for the howling my dogs are doing because the dirt bikes make then bark. Please. And if those selfish brats still dont listen then ....... honestly...one day when there gone, go to there house and like, rip out the battery. I had the same problem when my neighbor had an electric scooter and my yorky went wild. They were so spoiled and said they wouldnt stop so I went there when they were gone and ripped the battery out. it worked :D

I doubt that you can do anything about the lousy neighbors, sorry about that.
What you might try which will not painful to your dogs but will teach them is to squirt them with a water hose when they howl and hopefully after a while they will associate the squirting with their howling and stop.
Too bad your dogs have to suffer a bit because of your neighbors.

You conceal an excellent pointy rock in a mild airborne dirt and dust mound on their aspects and watch them rigidity over the sand slam onto the pointy rock. Their airborne dirt and dust bike would be broken, and then....silence.... i've got under no circumstances quite accomplished this, reason i comprehend it form of feels like I did, however the plan works out completely in my head If all else fails, you and their different neighbor make a noise criticism to the police, in case you call sufficient circumstances. they are going to make it end.

Maybe I shouldn't be suggesting this, but if I had pesky neighbours who tore around on a noisy dirtbike, I'd try to get to that dirtbike if it was left unattended at night!
