The UK is now one of the very few contries who dont accept blood donation from homosexuals.

Why are we still in the dark ages.

Can any body explain the ethical or medical reasons in defence or attack of this policy.

My maid of honor wants to put together a memory book for my FH and I , she wants baby pictures of us and she wants to take pictures through out the whole thing and choose what photos to put in the book .

well she has horriable taste in photo's she posted some photos of my FH and I on the internet that we so horriable he called her and asked her to take them down ...

our families don't want to give old photos to her since she is not family.

I sent her an email explaining how the family felt about this, and we would love a book.. but we should be allowed to choose what photos are special to us not left to another person interpertation of what is special. and putting a memory book is something that is special to the bride and groom and direct family.

But i told her I would love a book to put photos in with maybe a special poem from her. I explained she is a great help and a good friend but this not really her place to do this.

is this offensive to tell her that.

You Christians can reason so soundly why Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and etc., are all fake, but when it comes to your own religion your brains just shut down! Why is that?

In the OT, people used animals as blood offerings to God. Why is that necessary? The poor animal didn't do anything wrong! And if the human sinned, how does his slaughtering of an animal justify it?

Suppose you sinned and God were mad at you. So you pick up your dog and slaughter it! Then God says, "Very well, you killed the dog so I forgive you."

So they think that the only thing God wants is your Money. That is a lie.HOSEA 6 V 6 W God says what I want from you is plain and simple.I want your constant love not your animal sacrifices. I would rather have people know Me than have them burn offerings to me.

Suppose there were ten identical balls differing only in color placed before humanity, and everyone was to choose only one of those balls. In making the decision friends and family encouraged one another to choose a specific ball. Finally, everyone has made their choice. Jesus there after comes soaring down through the clouds!
Jesus said, “All who chose the blue color ball come and stand on the left, and the rest of you on the right!” “All of you who stand on the left go to heaven, and those on the right go to hell!”
The ones on the right are infuriated and asks, “Why is that you send us to hell?”
Jesus replies, “I gave you the power of choice, so it is not I who send you to hell, it is you who send yourselves to hell through your own free-will!”

Most people assume that people who don't look you directly in the eye are dishonest. I don't agree. I believe it is usually due to a lack of confidence and/or trust, and not that they are necessarily dishonest.

Most salesmen, politicians and lawyers for example are confident people and will lie to you without hesitation while maintaining eye contact and a smile.

I think the common perception about eye contact is quite wrong and perhaps damaging to shy or timid people and would like your insight.

I am told that in Japan it is considered rude to make eye contact, and that people generally don't. Not sure whether this is true or not.

Please comment I am interested in others thoughts on this.

It is my first time meeting them because they live in another state. They have already expressed (to my boyfriend) that they have bought me a gift. There are 7 total: Mom, Dad, sister, sister's husband, and their 2 children, boy (13) and girl (10).

I was thinking a Christmas basket that included things for everyone, instead of individualized gifts, since I dont know their personal interests (yet).

Please help! Thanks!
