The idea that the universe exploded out of nothing is completely insane. nothing just creates itself from nothing except God. God was always there. Athiests are like little fleas on dogs thinking "I dont see any dog, so I guess dogs just dont exist. That makes sense, right?" Well it doesnt. The only reason you dont think God exists is because you arent looking hard enough. There is a God and there IS so much proof whether you know it or not! So close those books about scientists that never even opened the bible to see some truth and logic and instead came up with their own dumb ideas.

God is not dead and He is real. You just need to be open about it and experience His love. Try it again. Don't you care about your soul? What if we were right and there really was a God and there really was life after death, a heaven and a hell? Wouldn't you want to know you have safety in the arms a loving God whom you could believe in and be with in heaven? Do you ever feel scared and unsure? He will ease your fear. Just accept Him as your savior and believe in Him and be reassured that you will live after you die but in heaven. It would be terrible if we were right all along and we could have saved you and not tried to help you.

It was a statement of Friedrich Nietzche, in "Die fröhliche Wissenschaft" (which translates roughly as "The Gay Science" [and has nothing to do with homosexuality, btw]). In that work, Nietzche made reference to "the death of God" ("Gott ist tot"). It has nothing to do with God dying, however. What it DOES have to do with is the notion that the IDEA of God is no longer capable of acting as the source of a moral code or teleology (teleology being the source of purpose, design, directing principle, etc., in nature or human creations). It's a tough nut, philosophically, and far too much to discuss here, but the notion makes for interesting reading.

you are completely taking Nietzsche's words out of context...

When he spoke of god being dead, he didnt mean a physical death(He was an atheist) he meant it as a sign that people didnt need god anymore. We are free thinking people capable of making decisions on our own. That is why we dont need god. and that is why we have killed him.

"God Is Dead And We Have Killed Him."

Jung does an excellent interpretation of this statement from 'Thus spake Zarathustra'. His lecture is quite long but is certainly more of an adrenaline rush than the empty reminders of 'bed ridden' religious zealots!

The God-man, Christ Jesus of Nazareth, died. He was crucified.
On the third day He rose from the dead, and now He is alive forevermore, interceding for us.

He is just as real as you and me.

God is invisible like any other invisible thing like AIR , SILENCE, SOUND etc. So GOD is a belief and a faith thus non-entity which is never dead. Good is God and Good never dies.

I don't know about God, but Jesus is alive and well. He mows my lawn. And soon he's going to help my son with Spanish. Ah Jesus, my Mexican friend.
