Suppose there were ten identical balls differing only in color placed before humanity, and everyone was to choose only one of those balls. In making the decision friends and family encouraged one another to choose a specific ball. Finally, everyone has made their choice. Jesus there after comes soaring down through the clouds!
Jesus said, “All who chose the blue color ball come and stand on the left, and the rest of you on the right!” “All of you who stand on the left go to heaven, and those on the right go to hell!”
The ones on the right are infuriated and asks, “Why is that you send us to hell?”
Jesus replies, “I gave you the power of choice, so it is not I who send you to hell, it is you who send yourselves to hell through your own free-will!”

The ones going to hell then said, “What? How were we supposed to know which ball were the correct one? Our friends and family said that our respective color was the right one, and we therefore chose the respective color just like those who chose the blue ball! And some of us never got to see the blue ball so how could we have chosen it? ”
Jesus said, “I am God so I can do as I like!”
Explanation:
The 10 balls with different colors represent the different religions in the world. The reason they are all balls is that each religion is as authentic as their respective religions in each individual’s eyes differing only in content. Each person chooses their respective religion because they truly believe it is the truth. And their choice had been influenced by their environment.
Question:
Does it make sense to judge someone upon their beliefs instead of deeds?

Suppose the flaw in your reality was subjective - your twisted perception caused by your own sinfulness, and that God actually was perfect and you just weren't seeing Him as He is?
Suppose the only thing that could restore you was if you forsook your own self confidence, humbled yourself, and believed the Gospel - accepting God's testimony concerning you, that you are so bad you deserve Hell, but that He is so good that He sent His Son from Heaven to die in your place and save you from Hell and give you Heaven as a gift?
Now wouldn't that be an unexpected surprise?

Beliefs are the seed bed of deeds. Not all beliefs are valid.
When a system fails, should we ignore the failure? Or look for the real truth?
Example: Hinduism believes that what we were in a previous life affects who or what we are now. You must endure what you were born, for that is your Karma. If you are rich it is because you did well in your past life. If you are a Dalit and born poor and destitute, it is because of your past life and must therefore remain that way. Therefore, because of an in correct belief system Hindu's will watch a child starve to death or die or exposure not lifting a finger to help, because that is their Karma. The conscience that God gave all mankind cries out that it is evil to ignore the plight of an orphan. The true justice of God demands action to help the child. So, you may judge a person by their deeds, because their deeds will be a manifestation of their beliefs. Really, I don't see much difference between the action and the thought behind the action.
Please note that this is not a hypothetical example. I have worked with an orphanage in a Hindu country and know of children who have died because the orphanage could handle no more children. The local people did nothing to help and children died.
I am sure that every false religion has it's own examples of injustice, etc. That could serve as examples as well.

What you left out was the fact that Jesus would tell you which ball lead to where and you would go to heaven based on whether or not you believed him. Now one might say who would not chose the ball that Jesus said led to heaven, and the answer would be that we have a choice to trust in God the same as did Adam and Eve. Now I ask you, why if we put our trust in so many things and people-like when someone says they love you but hurt you, someone asks for money and never pays it back, when you are driving down the street and trust that others are good drivers, or you vote on who will be the next mayor, president, or trust in a seat belt working, or sitting in a chair(you trust that it will not brake), trust that the school bus driver is not drunk, or trust that the airplane won't crash, or that when you go to the hospital that the doctor won't kill you, or that the elevator won't brake, or that the cops won't kill you just because you were speeding-why not find out if your hypothetical question is indeed fact? Why sit here and insult and badger trying to make someone feel stupid? Why go through life thinking that you have the answer to something you have never experienced?

the only Christians who've a difficulty with that are fundamentalist. relatively, they do no longer seem to be often Christian. you may consistently project the commonplace. i will verify the place it could be confusing for some people to have self belief there's a God. I lived my existence that way for years. inspite of the reality that i'm a Christian. i'm non-denominational. i've got self belief all religions have good and valid factors. (different than those that thought they could journey abode on a comet donning communicate, that replaced right into slightly strange) I even have self belief notably much all religions are in basic terms modifications of one yet another. yet does that make me a sinner? NO. through fact the only foundation for Christianity is the perception in Christ. despite the fact that in case you do not have self belief in God, in case you reside a staggering existence you would be in basic terms high quality. Thats what actual Christians have self belief. no longer that crap thats peddled via Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell.

See the difference is that Christianity is the only religion that says Jesus IS God. None of the other religions state this. Jesus also blatantly said I am THE way THE truth and THE life. NO ONE comes to the Father but through Me. Isn't that pretty clear to you? Your example is like saying your professor gave you a choice of ten different things. With only one saying "I am right if you choose me you will get an A" and He fails you for not choosing that one. Christianity isn't a trick question. It's straightforward. Jesus is God, Jesus came to save you, and If you believe in Jesus you will go to heaven.

youve hit the nail directly on the head-thats precisely how I see it. Its the blind leading the blind with no one having scientific proof- all the proof they have is in saying he said he is god so he is. But a lot of religious prophets in many other religions say they are also gods. In the end its the way you lead your life and only the good deeds you do on this earth which really count. Any amount of trying to bring in more people into your religion or condemning other religions remains a selfish act at best as it is meant to get you better points to go to heaven

Almost all of us are seeking to get to the same place in doesnt matter reilgion, it takes a little faith. As an example "If all roads lead to Rome? theres more than one road and they all head the same way, we will all get there just different times and paces.

I've read that one or heard it before but I can't think where...the first answer pretty much sums up the Christians stance on the subject. They are completely deluded and no logic, no matter how concise can free them of the delusion that imprisons them.

"I am God, so I can do as I like."
all the gods say this, and this is why all the believers follow them.
the believers think that infallibility will rub off on them (after all. nobody could ever respect a believer from any value of his own).
