I'm asking this because I don't believe it and since it has NEVER been proven it is considered religion. So stop whining and answer the question

The main idea behind evolution is that environments are constantly changing. Any species living in the changing environment must adapt itself, by way of habits or physiology, or it will perish. Over the course of millions of years, these small adaptations will culminate into the species being unrecognizably different from the original.
It is justified by over a hundred years of research in biology, archeology, anthropology, and even in sociology.

Actually, it has been proven. Time and time again it has been proven. You just seem to be too hard headed to accept the evidence that contradicts your bible.

Oh, and acknowledging the truth in a theory does not make it a religion. No one would say that the Theory of Gravity is a religion.

I'll try to give you a serious answer since very few people are doing that.
The very basic idea of evolution is that over time creatures change in order better survive in their environment. Evolution explains why the giraffe has a long neck, to better reach food, and this gives them a way to survive. Evolution does NOT say that one species turns into another. It's a common misconception that evolution says that men evolved from monkeys. What is actually said is that far enough back in natural history there is a common ancestor for both men and other primates.
One other misconception that I would like to make sure you understand is what scientists call a "Theory." The best way I can explain this is to say that scientists also have a "Theory of Gravity." So science is equally sure about the existence and workings of gravity as it is sure about the existence and workings of evolution.
Evolution is not a religion, it is a science. It's a science because at no point is faith required. There is no missing link, that is a fallacy created by religious people who object to the idea of evolution. There is evidence of evolution in all aspects of biology.
I hope I helped.

William T's answer is excellent. I'd just like to add that in science, nothing is ever considered as 'proven' . The way science works is to try to disprove, not to prove. In principle, any part of science can be overturned by new evidence. But that is extremely unlikely to happen with evolution, as it is strongly supported by masses of evidence, and has stood up for 150 years without being falsified.

If there are specific arguments against evolution you have heard, a good resource for checking is www.talkorigins.org Usually the arguments against evolution turn out to be misrepresentations.

The key concept of evolution is that populations change over time. It is legitimate because it is a strong scientific theory.

The main concept is that due to conditions species adapt to the changes...they justify it because in some species the evolution has taken place in front of our eyes...the bible does not actually contradict evolution....we didn't come from monkeys, no one is claiming that..

Wrong section, slick.

I'm sorry, but no one but idiots consider Evolution a religion. Is Gravity a religion, too?

Well.... there is the whole finding fossils that match our form of DNA... Then there's the Galapagos islands, where animals have adapted (aka evolved) to better survive the island.

no one disagrees with the validity of evolution ( except root fundamentalists) it is the claim that man evolved from ape that most people dispute.

Evolution is too difficult for you to understand, I think creationism is right up your alley though.
