Well.... There are plenty of things in the world that will kill you. Isn't it better that now you know what to watch out for?

They're trying to prevent you from killing yourself or seriously injuring yourself (and thereby spending the governments money in hospital).

But you only have one life (and no afterlife, despite what some people may try to fool you into believing) so you should try to keep it as long as you can. Avoiding injury is a good idea because what doesn't kill you could very well make you weaker.

If you do get killed and the school didnt warn the kids of the dangers - your parents could sue the school. If the school teaches you what is dangerous and teaches you how to take calculated risks in real life situations then that would be real education

"things that can kill us...trying to scare away"

And this would be bad?

It's kind of the job of older generations to pass down info on what should be avoided.

morals are based on "right and wrong", facts are based off of "this will do this to you"

so yes, the fact something could kill you could spark a moral like thought about it, but the fact itself isn't a moral lesson.

i have had teachers who tried to push their religious and moral views on me before, but thats against most school district codes.
