Having spoken to us by His Son, God will not speak directly again to us (Heb ch1), hence this questions best sent to deluded Charismatics who can still have special dreams, revelations................
We now have a more sure Word of prophecy (ie the Bible).
2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

If I could be sure that it was God telling me to do so, I'd like to think that I would. Though, I don't believe that God would ask for something like that in this day in age. I do think you're taking Abraham's test a little out of context though.

Everything God asks us to do; there is a purpose and a reason for it. Yes I will stab my kid if I were to choose to love God wholeheartedly and place him first in my life.

It's a test of faith. He needed someone He could trust to obey Him no matter how ridiculous it sounded. You can even call it a prophecy from God of how God would give His only Son as an offering for our sins

Abraham received prophesy of the coming of the lamb.
The lamb has come and this prophesy is fulflled.
If you receive a revelation that is not in agreement with the word of God it is not from God.
