There's just so much fiction one human being can read in their lifetime. We can't read EVERYTHING, especially the stuff we don't have any interest in at all! I personally prefer fantasy sci fi. (But not the Quran or any more of the Bible).

Bible, Quran, Torah or any other comes from language that you do not understand. That is why they are translated to English. They people said things is diffrently so most of this book are direct translation. To know better, you have to ask the right person so that they can explain it to you. It's that simple. My my country there are religous book translated to our language so that it can help us to understand the meaning. If you are a christian ask your Sunday school preacher. It goes the same to any religion.
Just want to correct you Arabic is still widely use (millions).

Granted, it is just my impression, but I believe that I understand 90% of the bible, despite its translation into English. I have read several English versions, and I feel that it is (for the most part) quite plain. Certain books (Ezekiel, Revelation) are difficult to understand because of the heavy use of symbolism, but most (well over 90%) of scripture is not written in such a manner.

I have read Quran and Bible 90% plus and understood the message which is wonderful. Main message is there is only One God, who sent many prophets with truth. Message of prophets was similar and for betterment of humanity. Bible is mainly dealing with prophets sent to Israel tribe while Quran is dealing with all humanity.

I have read a lot of the Bible, but not every word, and I do not presume to understand every word either. I know that I don't understand much of the Bible, but I think I get the jist of it.

In a certain verse, which says... love your God with all your heart and with all your soul... seems appropriate in understanding the Good Book. If that would be followed, you have understand the Holy Book 100%.

Jesus Christ is the Only Way to The FAther, and People that trick themselves into believing in something else other than Gods word will have a rude awakening, we are told we are warned, God loves us, but you shouldn't turn away, some follow thier religion because that is the way they are raised, but I tell you, The only way you can be saved is through Jesus Christ, If you believe Jesus Christ was a good teacher, then why would Jesus tell us that lies, The answer Jesus would not, Jesus never lied never sinned and went to the cross so we could be forgiven our sins, We cannot be with God if we are seperated through sin, Jesus cleanses that sin, noone else, nothing else.

PP, the Bible’s message is obvious for people who will examine it with an open techniques and seek for to understand its meaning. the situation comes whilst human beings attempt to make the awareness in fantastic condition their preconceived recommendations. this isn't any longer the fault of the Bible, yet of the human beings who attempt to rigidity the Bible to assert despite they like it to assert. in many circumstances the war of words isn't lots with the translation of the Scriptures, yet with the appliance.
