Or Both?

Remember, true Fundies don't celebrate Christmas because of the "mas."

Would some here say there is little difference between Catties and Pagans?

Why does a prayer for healing of amputation not get answered? How about a prayer for reversing aging, or a prayer for an object to pop into your hand from nowhere? Why don't those ever work?

You'd think that being convinced of the non-existence of God they would just ignore belivers. But, they constantly obsess over them. Why? ...and please don't insult us by saying atheim is not a religion...the bare fact that you answer this proves it is.

People seem to argue about whether Christians are bound by "the Law." There's always a discussion of how Christians don't need to follow "the Law" because Christ fulfilled it, but then the do have to follow "the Law" because Christ did not abolish it and every word of it is still there.

If the law is contained in the Bible, has anyone summarized or listed all of those laws and noted which ones Christians have to follow and which ones they don't?

I've heard people say that "the Law" is the 10 Commandments, but that's not correct either. It may be part of the Law, but the 10 Commandments is not what is referred to by references to "the Law" in the Gospels.

This is a serious question, and not one meant to mock anybody.

are those fundies willing to believe every lie they are fed to them as long as it's against your Church?

Should Bible reading and interpretation be done only by priests and scholars, or can the average person study on their own? I was brought up to believe we leave the teaching to the church but I am wanting to study on my own to grow in my faith. Is this a sin?

No, world. Jesus is not dead. Spirituality is a feeling....
When you feel a divine presence from above, some point
or another in your lifetime, then you will know HE exists.
Unless you climb out of your box, and see this thing for
what it is. You will continue to be misguided by your
carelessness, and shallowness. Miracles happen
every day. And some people who think like you,
have been converted to the other side. So are they
crazy. Of course not. Until you actually speak
to a person who is very close to THE FATHER, then and
only then will you understand. That goes for all, athiest,
pagans, believers of nothing, christians, etc. Do you agree ?
Best answer wins.

According to British law, it is treason for someone to sleep with the wife of the monarch's eldest son and heir. If the relationship was consensual, both parties are liable. Both parties admitted to having the relationship, why didn't the government charge them for treason. And for the record, I think this law should be overturned by Parliament ASAP.

Telling them what hurts, then they just have to poke at it to see if it really hurts? My doctor did that to my knee yesterday. I looked at her like she'd lost her mind, and she just cracked up. If I'm at the doctor's because something hurts, and I tell them exactly where it hurts and what it feels like, how does it help them to make it hurt more? Good thing I have a sense or humor.

Harry Potter and His Dark Materials?

They all have themes that can be interpreted in whatever way you wish. But they are all works of fiction. If you boycott one and not the other that is being inconsitent.

Is it only because it is new? How about 50 years from now, how would they be viewed?

This is a two-part question demanding that you make a HYPOTHETICAL assumption before answering. Be sure to answer both parts or you get no credit and will be labeled an ideologue without the ability to reason objectively.

If it were proven that god exists, name three benefits to society and explain why and how those benefit everyone.

If it were proven that god does not exist (remember this is a hypothetical question), name three benefits to society and explain why and how those benefit everyone.

Please avoid using the Internet or Bible for your answer. Explore your imagination and generate answers from within. This is not a question about whether or not god exists; it is asking what the world would be like in two different situations.

I have owned an insurance agency for 20 years. We have a much larger workload BECAUSE of technology than we did 20 years ago. What is happening is the programs we work with ask for more information every time they are updated, and they become less user friendly every year. We are heading backward!!!!! Our lives were better when we called people instead of email. We are spending more time in front of computers instead of people. We are exchanging relationships for instant messages. Wake up before it's too late. You are also enabling huge corporations to eliminate people and pass their workload on to us.

Love is not selective, just as the light of the sun is not selective. It does not make one person special. It is not exclusive. However, the intensity with which true love is felt can vary. The bond that connects you with a person you are "in love" with is the same bond that connects you with the person sitting next to you on a bus, or with a bird, a tree, a flower. Only the degree of intensity with which it felt differs.

What is God? The eternal One Life underneath all the forms of life. What is love? To feel the presence of that One Life deep within yourself and all creatures. To BE it. Therefore, all love love is the love of God.
