If God does know. Why doesHe create them anyway?

On the authority of Anas, who said: I heard the messenger of Allah say:
Allah the Almighty has said: "O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its."

related by Al-Tirmithi, who said that it was a good and sound Hadith.


I have always offends you guys with harsh words, will you forgive me? because god will not forgive us until we seek forgiveness from whom we hurt... will you?

Since everyone already knows the stance of religion on most things, I will (unbiasely) explain why some would want them replaced with, say, secularism.

1) Wars are being fought in the name of a God whom people aren't even sure exists. Sure, there will always be wars for power, greed, corruption - but those are wars that will always happen no matter what. It is human nature. But wars in the name of God? Completely unnecessary!

2) A lot of time is spent on wondering whether animals will go to heaven (this question was just asked on yahoo answers several moments ago). People spend too much time thinking about this God whom might not even exist. They have holidays and commemoration days for this God whom might not exist. They write books about this God whom might not exist. Anybody see a trend of unproductivity?

3) Teach their children to believe in a certain God, biasing the child's views for his/her entire life. Making them grow up secluded, with blind folds on their eyes.

Yes, a few years ago if I'd seen this question I would've thought "How sleazy! Waddya marry for?!" But now I'm in the sitch. I didn't marry for sex but hubby couldn't perform for 8 YEARS! Couldn't or wouldn't...So we've been apart for a year. I'm no longer attracted to him but thinks she should go back together, divorce is wrong and he seems so sad and pitiful. Not in a good $$ sitch, just lost his mom too. Should re reconcile? Would I be able to deal w/ it again?

you guys are way to stressed out, you take everything so seriously. you know you can get wrinkles, get fat, and lose hair from that right?

I've worked places where some employees were pompous & condescending because they thought they had an "in" with the boss. They thought the boss favored them for one reason or another.
I've often thought that some religious people are pompous and condescending because they thought they had an "in" with God. They believed in their religion or God not necessarily because God was moral but because God had power and they merely wanted to ally with a Force that would grant them superiority over others who didn't have this "in" with the Big Boss in the sky. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
What other reason would there be for these people to be pompous and condescending?

What ? You think because Im Jewish I cant believe in Jesus ? Who says that we cant believe in Him ? He came to us first. It is our first right. I believe in Jesus BECAUSE I AM JEWISH and the Jewish prophets said He was our Messiah. Isaiah 53

according to Jack Van Impe, the bible says to go into all the world and preach the gospel. which is true, but he says it means that we should witness to our pets, so they have salvation, also.
