It is not as if god gave us the ability to regenerate our limbs if they were cut off but then turned it off. That is man's fault.
It is not as if god gave chickens wings but not the ability to fly even though he knew wolves would eat them. Man messed that up too.

ooh, or what if he had multiple personality disorder, and ONE of the personalities made us. but THEN the personalities 'switched' and now - totally new personality, has no idea we exist...
this is really kind of wrong, maybe... :)
