I really don't think people have been de-sensitized to it...they just label the people as "different" because they sense "difference" but unable or unwilling to clarify it more than that. :)
I think I will not be describing experiences, but, instead, will speak more fully on the "feelings", if you will be so kind to permit. :) [lol, as though you have a choice! :)]
Yes, I have met both evil and good..... have even felt my spirit leap within me much the same way as the Bible stated John the Baptist lept in his mothers stomach when Jesus within Mary's stomach had been near. :)
I have felt like the spirit within me and within another was reaching out to shake hands, lol, and I have also felt the spirit within me suddenly brace itself and stand firm within me when I have encountered a spirit that was not of God.... have also felt the spirit within me groan with grief even though the person I encounter is smiling....with their mouth they smile, but the eyes have tears eluminated within their depths....
I also have tried to over-ride the "feeling" within me when I meet someone claiming to be a Christian either in real life or here on-line....why? Because, their words are oh so correct, yet, "something" is just not "right"....while others just fill me with joy at seeing them in real life or on-line! :)
Sometimes I spend so much time trying to convince myself that I am "wrong" simply because so many others I respect have not sensed anything "wrong"...much easier when they too are sensing a wrong spirit then for you to be the only one whom is sensing it! lol
Odd as it is, even though the Lord has proven to me time and again that these "feelings" are "true", I STILL try to override it simply because I do not wish to find anyone at fault....and... just being wrong ONCE is enough to shadow your discernment.
Do you understand what I mean?
Ah well, this has been shared because I feel the Lord is trying to answer someones question about just such a situation.
May God Bless you all today! :)

Unfortunately yes..
Mostly Christians will feel when another person is really evil as the spirits that the evil person has sense the Holy Spirit in the Christian, and there is a real conflict. Non Christians are usually not aware of the demonic spirits .
Non Christians can usually sense the Holiness and presence of the Holy Spirit when they are in the presence of a real Christian.

My husband , before he left me , always had the idea , that I had done something to him and he was desperately trying to pay me back for what he thought I had done to him. But now he has calmed down alot , because everytime ,when he pointed the arrow at me , it took a turn and went his way, and I think he is tired of getting hurt and him being the cause of it,he simply found out that you cannot hurt God's people and get away with it.
A person who is truly filled with the Holy Spirit , is a Bishop who has been my mentor and the backbone in my life, whenever things are going bad in his life ( and that is like always!!!) , he makes it his business to praise God anyway. He reminds me of Job, and I cannot wait to see him getting double for his trouble.

Only losers like ye(do err) still give place to evil,
which is the end of law: is "both good and evil".
Ye portray not ignorance, but display willful ignorance,
the sort of ignorance mentioned in 2Peter 3: 5,
results in all within you Colossians 2: 22-ing,
and because of yer Mt 12:37b-ing
noted again in Mt 15:11.
Grace with you all. Amen.

Yes, EVIL is an easy presence to feel- one of the foster children that we had in our house, his dad was truly evil, not only did he beat and torture his 3 month old baby, he had sexual relationships with him and many other things. I am not positive that that in itself makes one evil,(even though it is horrible) but the fact that he showed no remorse, no care, no feelings that what he did was horrible.. just being around him made me uneasy and made my skin crawl.

peoplerefuse to accept truth no matter whether they themselves even know it to be truth for thier own agenda's..........and its called self blindness...everyone has eyes to see........just they refuse to see
And yes there are trukey evil people out there and yes i have meet them and even was with them and they sought to kill me....so yeah they are out there...
and likewise there are Spirit filled Christians out there to who you can feel His Love and Peace from them........and the difference is the Spirit of God which they have compared to the devil and his ways the other person bears which is evil !!!!!!

I think it is most visible in wartime or poverty cause that's when regular people become monsters or self sacrificing heroes. In the regular life it's not so easy to detect unless you see their actions from close. I don't know what causes it and maybe it's impossible to find out.
