Fertilized or Unfertilized, an egg is an egg until it is hatched.

Heck, many don't even find anything wrong with capital punishment and war.

So is eating an embryo two days before hatching the same thing as eating an egg??

And I am morally outraged that certain people on here are so quick to dismiss the whole "chicken for breakfast" thing...Let he who has never enjoyed a big ol' plate of fried chicken & waffles in the morning cast the first Eggo...

Life starts when a fertilized human egg implants into the uterine wall. Thus, your unfertilized chicken eggs don't count. That is also why other forms of birth control aren't frowned upon (except by orthodox Catholics, etc.) -- however, that is also why a true vegetarian doesn't eat eggs.

Chicken eggs for eating have not been fertilised, and do not contain an embryo, so it cannot be the same as eating a chicken. If there was an embryo inside, then yes! it would be similar to eating chicken. But pro-lifers do not have a problem with eating chicken in any case. They are against the unjust killing of humans, because they value human life from the moment of conception to life's natural end.

Abortion mills are legalised, baby murdering factories, and those politicians or judges who have supported legalising them have innocent blood on their hands.
In the UK alone seven million innocent, unborn babies have been murdered in abortion factories since abortion was legalised.
Hitler is condemned by all right-thinking people for his murder of millions of people, yet those responsible for this terrible crime against humanity, have not only got off scott-free, they still freely promote their sick and poisonous doctrine of war against unborn babies with impunity.

They don't think much about eating either for breakfast, although, chicken is not really considered a breakfast food item.

Animal conservation, do you get fined for breaking an egg of an endangered bird?
Do you get in the same kind of trouble if you shot an endangered bird.

Probably not. I'm pro-life and eggs for breakfast are good. Chicken for breakfast? I'll pass on that one, and have it for dinner instead. BTW, I support the death penalty.

The eggs you eat are unfertilized and hardly a fetus.
