You don't find many of the believers on this site to be full of themselves?
Telling us how to feel and act and what to think; telling us we're going to burn; telling us that we don't accept their imaginary beings, it's because we're wicked, or that we really DO believe?
Telling us we have no morals?
Spewing nonsense quoted from their book?
Threatening us, cajoling us, dismissing us?
There are some reasonable believers here, and some wacko atheists, but singling out atheists on this site for being "full of" ourselves is a bit much.
Look at the "questions" posed to non-believers; check out the answers posted about atheists by believers.

Sounds like someone rubbed you the wrong way! You could also ask, "Why does it seem like the christians on this site are so full of themselves?"

I suppose its because we're so much smarter and better looking than religious people.
Oh, I kid the religious, but seriously. We all come on here and spout opinions, because let's face it - that's all we have when it comes to Religion & Spirituality. This is where we can pretend that evolution is a matter of opinion, or argue over whether homosexuality is a choice. What other category allows us to just make stuff up as we go along?

Other groups have the same dilema to overcome also; that man is a false god according to God. (Gen.3:5-6,Psalms 82:6, John 10:34).

I'm not, seriously. I do not really know many atheists here that ARE full of themselves...it's mainly the Christians who are, though. Maybe you got us confused?

I mean we are all full of something. :) right??
Alot of Christians are 1/4 full of God and 3/4 still full of themselves also. Sad but true.

I don't see it that way, I just see them as sane. They don't believe in a god that was once "pleased" with animal blood sacrifices and then needed the blood of Christ to wash sins. Nor do they adhere to the delusion that a "perfect' god could or would burn his creations in fire forever for not believing in him. In truth atheist are not gullible fools like others on this planet.
