At what age will my kids stop believing in Santa??

I was sitting in church this morning when the communion tray got passed around. I guess I wasn't really thinking about what I was doing, because I took the drink and then the bread. I ate them in that order. (PS, the traditional way is to eat the bread and then drink the "wine") My dad got really angry at me and said it was wrong. Is it really?

I really want to start communicating with my spirit guide.I know I am somewhat ituitive already but only when I pay attention to it.I have tried meditation, and meditation audios. But all I see is colors flowing around in my eyes and sometimes it gets bright. I dont understand how i can communicate with my guide(s). If there are any experienced or psychics out there can you please help me?

If there is freedom of religion in the US...then why is shamanism, one of the oldests religions often perscuted. People about in every culture have been using entheogens like mushrooms, peyote, dmt, and lsa in spirtitual contexts for 1000's of years. So why are nontoxic and nonaddictive spirtiual entheogens placed in the same catergory as deadly drugs like heorin and cocaine. My only guess is it might spark a spirtitual awakening by the public and challenge the church and scientists

There are many verses in the OT that tell us that the Law of Moses is sacred, beautiful and everlasting. I dont recall any verse that tells us that after the Messiah comes we will be free from the "curse"(as Paul likes to put it) of the Law.
Does anyone have a verse from the OT where it is stated that we will be freed from the Law after the Messiah comes or that the Law is temporary.

Christianity has actually convinced people that there is an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day.

The invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.

ones opinion?everyone knows i have a lot of ferile cats that i feed and try to take care of,well one of the cats was hit yesterday and it has broken her lower spine and her back feet are all crushed together.what should i do with her,i cant kill her my self at all?should i call the county pound and have them get her,or should i let nature take its course and let her die on her own?she eats well and does get around a little on her two front paws,but she is so pitiful.she was the mother cat.eny suggestions.i have no money for a vet and i dont think it would do eny good.i am just in tears.thanks

Their brain is as large, or larger than the modern human (Cro Magnon) brain. They made tools, they had stylized rituals, they painted on cave walls, and recently they've been shown that they were every bit as capable of speech as modern humans.

ok so in my previous question i asked if piercing the ear is ok or not.. many of you guys said yes

now i am wondering, if Allah says that harming our body is bad, then suicide is haram too, but then doesnt this mean that piercing an ear is harming the body because you can get cancer and infections because of it, then leading on to death which is kind of your fault because you harmed your own body and killed urself,.,,,
isnt this the same with smoking also

well anyways i was just wondering this because im a boy.. and i always wanted one of my ears peirced since i was a kid..

Holloween was originally the Hallowed Eve of All Saints Day. Remember that people used to consider it a new day as of sundown the day before. So, Halloween was the begining of All Saints Day. All Saints Day used to be a big celebration of all the Christians who have passed on and gone to heaven. A great day of thanking God for sending Jesus to save us from our sins.

Then it got distorted into costumes and candy. Then atheists started claiming it was really a pagan holiday that made it's way into Christianity thereby proving (to them) that Christianity was a false religion. Then some radical, uneducated Christians started jumping on the atheist bandwagon and tried to purge Halloween from Chrstianity. What began as a Godly celebration has become madness.

Does anyone still celebrate the original Christian Halloween?
