Well, normally it's a mother chicken and a father chicken and then an egg.
So 2 chickens came first followed by 1 egg.
---
Today, biologically, with a hen, I tend to think the eggshell comes first (to protect the chick), then the chick.

Since an egg must be kept warm, and the young chick needs to be cared for by a parent, reason would dictate that the chicken came first.

I believe God probably put the chicken here first, wouldn't that sort of go along with God put man and woman here first, and they had to create the children, so I would say the Chicken, but I could be wrong, We shouldn't ask questions, we only need to know what God tells us in the Bible.

For sure the Chicken and the Rooster came first. The Word says that everything God created, He designed to have it's own 'reproducing seed' within it. (''Hen'ce the egg!) No pun intented.

The chicken. Just as Adam was made a man and not an embryo. And the world was made with the appearance of being old even though it was new.

had to be the chicken...chickens have been around longer than incubators and without the body heat of the hen, the egg couldn't have survived.

according to God's word He created the animals and the fowl of the air and fish and man on the sixth day, so I would say chicken and then everything after his own kind
