I am so sorry. Sweety you need to get her to the pound, I'm sure she's in pain. They will probably put her to sleep. It's still better than her dying in pain. Once again, I'm so sorry
I agree with WickWire, hopefully the vet at the humane society will be able to fix her. That's if she has no internal injury's.
Good Luck and let me know, you can email me if you like. I love cats and this I know is heart wrenching

I'm so sorry what you are going through. I have rescued cats that others left and we took in also. If you call the pound they can put the cat to sleep, since she is so badly injured. I know how expensive a vet visit can be and you'd probably get the same results.
You mentioned she was the mama cat, but didn't say how old the kittens are. Check with the local Humane Society for help with them too. They've helped me get mine spayed/neutered along with a couple others. There may be other places in your area that will help you with the cats. It's just to much to have to deal with all of them on your own. Bless you for taking care of the cats and caring so much. You have a really big heart.

She needs to go to the vet as soon as you can get her there. Tell him up front about your money situation. Any vet with a good heart is going to do the right thing for the cat and either not charge you, or set up a small payment schedule.
Keep your fingers crossed....sometimes cats can do much better than we think, and maybe she'll come out of this. And if not, then you know you've done all that you could by feeding her and taking care of her before all this happened.
Let us know, ok?

Get her to the vet and worry about how you're going to pay for it later! She's suffering and you've accepted responsibility for her simply by feeding her...we were told that by the RSPCA when we were feeding a feral cat and her kittens. Sorry but you can't really pick and choose what level of care you give especially in these circumstances. We assume you're in the USA because killing cats, feral or not, is against the law here in the UK. Or call the County Pound as you suggest. But whatever you do you must do it quickly.

I'm so sorry - it grieves me to think of any creature suffering. Please do make some phone calls to try and get her some help and to get help for her kittens, especially if they have not been weaned yet. Call your local animal shelters and veterinarians and explain the situation - most veterinarians and animal shelter workers are extremely compassionate and I am confident that if you explain the situation, you will be able to find someone who will help her without charging you. You can also try local chapters of ASPCA and PETA if the first two options don't work. At the least, you can maybe get her assistance to pass with the minimum of pain and grief and some assistance on kitten care.
I would advise taking this route before calling the pound (i.e., animal control), who are likely to be callous and cruel.
Good luck and God bless.

Oh my gosh, I am soooo sorry about your cat. I have tears in my eyes now. I just lost one of my cats to pancreatitis a couple of months ago, so I know how painful it is to watch a cat suffer.
As much as I hate the thought of putting a cat down, I hate the idea more that the cat is suffering. Please, call the pound to take her. It will end her suffering, and like someone else said, she will be in a better place rather than being in pain.
You are a wonderful person with a big heart for taking care of these stray cats. I know you must feel torn up inside having to deal with this...I assure you, the cat is grateful for the care you have given her.

It would be cruel to leave her in this condition. If you would like a " humane" yet cheap way to put her down, I put down my own dying cat in a white garbage bag, not by tight suffocation ( duh! ), but left it full of air, and as the cat breathes, it will slowly fill with carbon dioxide, and it will go unconscious and then slip into death afterwards. This is very humane, and is not threatening nor cruel, but is like falling to sleep for the cat, without quick suffocation. I cried afterwards, but the vet wanted $100 to stick a needle in my cat , and being not full of money, I thought there has to be a better way to send her off, keeping her with me 'til the end, and would not be traumatic for either of us ( well, as little as possible, anyway ).
Not sure if you can hold the cat or not to prevent it from clawing open the bag, as mine was incapacitated and couldn't move at all anymore due to kidney failure. But if you can't do this, PLEASE do call the Humane society. the county might be as humane, but you can never tell. Good luck, and God bless you for caring.

I agree with Gracie, any good vet with a heart (and most are) will help you with this situation. Explain to them just what you told us here, and see what they say. This is so sad, it breaks my heart. If you don't have any luck going that way, then call your local pound or Humane Society, they also have humane ways to end her suffering. I'm so sorry you are in that situation. I love my own two cats (who are indoor cats), and I also feed a stray cat that comes to my door everyday. What is upsetting is that if people would take care of their own pets and have them spayed and neutered, us real animal lovers wouldn't be put in these kind of situations-caring for all the unwanted strays.

That is really sad, I'm sorry to hear it. The truth is, it's hard to know what exactly happen with her, whether she can be fixed easy or whether or not she's getting worse and in more pain by the day. You should call the animal folk to come pick her up. At least they'll have a vet take a good look at her and will know how to fix her if she can be fixed. I hope they can fix her easy.

This is a sad one. Is she in pain? If she is not in pain and not in danger from other cats or animals
she might survive.
Cats are amazingly adaptable creatures. Poor thing,
if she gets worse you can call the humane society'
This is so sad, I hope it works out ok, Im so sorry
that this has happened, I know you are hurting and I wish I could offer more, I can't stnd to hear stories like this anymore, it is so good they have you, at least.
