On what day of the week are most prayers answered?

2007-10-25 01:42:50 · 5 answers · asked by klunk 3 in Religion & Spirituality

Then why do we have both of these ideas?

Either

"God's justice was satisfied in the cross of Christ."

or

"God's justice demands eternal torment or annihilation."

I have come to realize that the bible concluded everything nearly two thousand years ago. Revelation was about current events at the time. Coded in a symbolic language that was understood then.

Maybe we just misunderstood what was meant.

So that would mean there are a few more ages to come.

Each prepares us for the next.

What do you think?

People on here sound so stupid when they ask questions that could be answered with very little research.
Do your own homework. Use spell checker. I can't understand a lot of questions because people can't spell or form a sentence.

Here's my idea: R&S should allow for yes/no poll questions where only a yes or no is an acceptable answer... and a little graph displaying the results shows up at the end... what do you think? It wouldn't take anything away from the long winded questions and answers that are permitted now.

"But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come." Matthew 10:23 If you could just understand that the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. was the coming of the "Son of man" in judgment of Israel, then so much of the Bible would make so much more sense.

There are many more Scriptures like those above that seem to teach pure nonsense, but when we see they were fulfilled in the generation of Jews that lived from 30 A.D. to 70 A.D., these Scriptures make perfect sense. When moved into another time frame, however, these same Scriptures cause much confusion.

when we didn't have the technology of today! life was simple and slower, not the rat race we have today.
my daughter is an A grade student, but we live in the North of England, her tutor has advised her not to bother with going on to a Law degree, for there is little chance of a job at the end. This is due to the multitude of students all cramming for the same positions within a Barristers chambers, which there are few, so only the rich get by offers of gifts and meals out.
when I was a kid, and Im only 35, you could get a job anywhere, if you didn't like it you could just change. Now the stress put on the young is astronomical, it is no wonder that so many of them burn out while still young.

The Quran does indeed promise virgins in heaven (see verses below). The number "72" however, comes from the haddiths, as opposed to the Quran, but is still widely accepted.

Let me say first....upfront...I dont deny that its fun to do the analysis ofthis doctrine...and yes...I mean "fun" at the expense of the super self righteous people of the war religion.

First, its worth mentioning that, if you wanted to get young men to fight for a cause, what better way than to deprive their sexual impluses (Islam), funnel that rage toward an "enemy", and promise them satisfaction of their most powerful desires, after the performance of a violent deed (virgin-bag-bonaza).

Putting the obvious aside, what conclusions can we make about Allah and his heaven? Well, sex is evolution way to get us to mate...which is why...when we have sex...babies often result. So, Allah's virgin orgy is for what? Little astral babies?

Religious people I ask 4 your help :-(

I have now smelled bad for 4-5 years, before that I did not smell to the point that someone would notice. Please I appreciate your help, but donot tell me to take a shower or wear deodrant, or some other rude comments. I have tried almost everything like changeing my diet (no garlic, cury, chocolate, or milk products) having my liver and kidneys tested, going to a dermatologist, eating cholorophill tablets ...etc..etc...etc

IT MAY SOUND "DUMISH" but I now see no hope in being nomal. I have people at work who sit covering their nose all day, everywhere I go people cover there nose fully...some even walk away. I take a shower twice a day. I wear deodrant. I wear power. I even wear colone. & Yes I have tried many and in different combinations...

QUES:
Anyone here who can help?
If not fixing the problem I am now convinced to just cover it up, Any good deodrants, or colones u recommend?

For years we went crazy on the decorations when we had a beautiful old house right on the corner, in a neighborhood setting. Nothing tacky, but we left nothing undecorated. My electricity bill would triple in December.
