If its written in there then it must have happened/will happen but where in the Bible does it actually say 'All this is true because it says so here?'

Thankyou Dave, I wasnt really interested in all that though, I know there are many contradictions, where in the Bible does it say 'this is all true because we've written it here'?

There are several scriptures that say that sort of thing, but think about the circular logic! How can something be true, just because it itself states so? Where is the external verification!
I had that sort of twisted logic chucked at me continuously as a kid! 'How do we know the bible is the the true word?' 'Well, it says so here in Ephesians..blah blah!'

The Bible is the only rule book that has not changed in so many years. To some, it is a life line. We are taught that it is the truth and we must live our lives according to the Bible. However, who wrote these words? When King James' court translated the words into the "King James Version", how do we know that the scholars didn't miss something, add something or leave something out on purpose. There are many books found since that time that give differing views on life. However, these books are disregarded by society in general because they aren't "THE BIBLE".
There are many different interpretations of the Bible. Many different study versions that interpret certain scriptures in different ways so, it makes you wonder which is true?

Where is the original Bible(Injeel) ? You are reading fully distorted Bible which changes every year after so called RESEARCH , having many versions. How can all be simultaneously correct ? Please read meanings of Quraan carefully at least 5 times with an open mind, the book in original form which can be memorised orally even by non Arabic knowing children of 8 years too, a quality the language of no other religious book has. That's why it is indestructible till the day of resurrection.

That's easy, because the Bible testifies of itsellf in many places, that what it says is true. Here are the main places that I know:
Regarding the Old Testament and NT writings then extant in the Early Church:
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
and the testimony of Jesus Christ:
Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Joh 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken...
The Online Bible is a real help in searching for these quotes.

the bible is nothing more than an allegoric mess written by men interpreted by the church to fit their own agenda and fill their own coffers. the religious organisations built on the basis of the bible are just profiteering bureaucrats motivated by greed, power and selfishness. The bible teaches hate, ignorance and arrogance, all these things lead to war and death. A logical mind of reason will discredit the bible and all it stands for, Christians should throw it away because it is not the teaching of Jesus, it is based on the philosophy of Saul of Tarsus, which was ratified at the council of Nicea, it was a vote, a vote, that is how they decided what went in and what was destroyed, yes, not just left out, but destroyed, so that future generations would not research the truth. It is only with the prudence of the Gnostic's that we have a lot of the information we do.
religion is subjugation of the mind, that is why faith has to be blind

I am Christian and I "rely heavily" on my Bible. I do so because I found for myself that what it says is true. When I follow the precepts, when I do what Jesus said to do, my life is richer, fuller, and I am wiser for it.
THAT is why I rely heavily on the Bible. What better witness to myself than me?
