I have come to realize that the bible concluded everything nearly two thousand years ago. Revelation was about current events at the time. Coded in a symbolic language that was understood then.

Maybe we just misunderstood what was meant.

So that would mean there are a few more ages to come.

Each prepares us for the next.

What do you think?

Nope. When Jesus came, He told the Jews that they were no longer under their law. His death on the cross ended that age. He was the Messiah that God had promised to send. But the Jews didn't want Jesus to be the Messiah because He didn't free them from the Romans like they expected Messiah to do. So they rejected Him and are still following their law even though they don't have to anymore. It's pretty tragic.

Revelation wasn't about current events at the time. It was a prophecy revealed to the apostle John while he was exiled on Patmos. It is a difficult, though fascinating, read, and it isn't always easy to understand. Some of it may be symbolic in meaning - remember, if John was seeing modern-day army equipment he had nothing back then to compare it to so his descriptions might sound odd. We don't know exactly when all the events in Revelation will come true, because God didn't give us a date. Only He knows when it will happen. But we do know that it hasn't happened yet.

Do you mean, was the New Testament the end of the Mosiac Law? Because the OT IS the Mosaic Law.

You ask what I think. I think that the meaning of Revelation was hidden for a very wise purpose, and has now been revealed to the world. It can be understood now if you read the book that tells the simple truth.

However, there is still time to go, and experience we need to gain until "the end"--it is not tomorrow or the next day or year, or even 100 years. I guess, it will be a beginning, not an end, come to think of it.

Baha'u'llah teaches progressive revelation. God never leaves humanity without guidance and a fresh outpouring of his love, bounty, and grace. Universal educators appear approximately every 500 to 1000 years with a re-newed message that carries civilization forward until the next universal educator appears and further carries civilization forward. We can see the pattern in humanity's organization of itself in ever greater unities and in advancement in its social and scientific achievements. Each new age has its specific theme such as law under Moses; law underpinned by love and mercy under Christ; nationhood united by a common faith under Muhammad; and today planetary unity underpinned by justice under Baha'u'llah.

Brethren,

The Word of God is not bound by time, His Words are eternal, powerful and food for the Spirit. The effect of every vision is at hand. Jacob my brother, is about to see for himself whom I AM really was and is!
