Well, I think it would be good for poll questions related to religion to be in the R&S section rather than the polls&serveys section.

Dats bor-ing-gah! I personally am of the long winded variety. Nothing like a half hour of my life spent typing up a hefty answer to some such non-sensical question or another..I try to apply as much sarcasm and wit as I can without being too terribly harsh cuz as you know...there are no stupid questions...only stupid question askers. Take yourself fer instance...there is a polling catagory here in one of the catagories if memory serves...so why do we need another one. R&S is host to some pretty intelligent people who have alot to say...myself included so why regulate to the just yes or no. Let peeps elaborate. Let peeps expound, I say. Verbosity is the order of the day...opinions aren't like assholes...they're like opinions and they should be shared...assholes should not be shared. That part of the body should be kept to ones self. Even the morons that frequent this site...and you could consider me one of them if you like...who can't be moronic at times? Anybuddy? Well, we morons can be quite humorous and contributive as well. Afterall, if a moron didn't ask a moronic question once and a bit...then other morons wouldn't be able to answer. So, in my mind...as for me and my analytical viewpoint...No...there shouldn't be a poll format for R&S. I disagree with that plan...most ardently and vehemently disagree. It might hamper as well the occasional rant and diatribe brought on by confrontation from opposing sides...everyone likes a good verbal bantering, right? Me too! Graphs? Nay...no graphs. It would take away from us longwinded question answers...oh yes...think about it..if people rely on a graph then they won't read all the long winded answers and there fore my efforts to be a thorough answerer and equal oppertunity fact finder will be lost. I'll have to resort to begging people to read what I write so please don't delegate me to the one word answer. Pa-lease, I emplore you. Oh wait...you have no real power here...this is just a mere quandry...hmmm...oh well...in that case..to answer your question...I don't think that we should have a R&S poll format. Thank you and have a good day! Love in Christ, ~J~ ;0)

It's a bit off the "focus" of Q&A and probably would only be useful in R&S and a few other sections. We tend to use this section as a discussion forum as opposed to the Question and Answer format it is set up for.
So yes, it might be an interesting thing but they probably won't do it.

uh no. sometimes then you would not get an answere answered that way. having long answeres useally helps the person out. and see all the different beliefs. maybe they can do a question and answere section just for you that is only yes or no. or i agree or i disagree. but not all of it.

I learn a lot from some of the long winded q&a's.
What I don't like is the copy and paste nonsense scripture.
If I wanted to read nonsense I already have my own copy of mother goose and several doctor seuss books lying around. Although Dr Seuss makes a lot more sense.
Love and blessings Don

If the Question would be Short, Straight-Foward and not Confusing--might work.

If you really want to see this, you could start your own Yahoo Group and create polls specifically for that reason...
