if you cant see a poltergoose.....and they are not actually phyciall things...how do they pick up and throw things around?
i need to know...bcos i think i have one!:-( its a long story ...but im getting used to it.!

OK, seriously, you mean a "Poltergeist". A poltergeist is a German term that means, "Playful Ghost". I suppose they pick things up and throw things around the same way it was shown in the movie, "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze and Whoopie Goldberg.

Well, I think you mean poltergeist, unless you have a phantom waterfowl. Real geese are pretty feisty, so having a ghost goose could be a problem.
I don't know if there's been a proven occurrence of a poltergeist that didn't turn out to be someone playing practical jokes--often teenagers. As you suspect, if something isn't physical, it won't be able to affect physical objects.

Well... let me take a "gander" at this one.
You can get it exorcized: the priest will come and "flap" around a bit, sprinkle some grain, etc., but you must pay the "bill" or it will all be for naught (nothing, zero, nada, a big "goose-egg," if you will)
If they stand in your way, you can get them to move: just "honk."
As to how they pick things up, they use their non-corporeal beaks. picking them up is harder than putting them "down."
they are most prevalent on Goosey Night. They like to TP houses and soap windows. They can be really "fowl."

Do you mean poltergeist? And who says they're not physical things? I suppose you can't see them, under normal circumstances, but you can't see gravity or magnetism, either, and things move under their influence.

they are pure energy they use the energy to stimulate things in the thing that are trying to move and they... well move them.
they don't actually touch the thing. they just shoot of energy. (if you believe that stuff(i do)).
