and he was all alone when he started creating the world, who was writing down the information and how? I saw a comedian ask this question last night and it made me go "hmmmmm, he's got a point there"

And here's one that I always wanted answered and in my entire life of 53 years, no one has been able to answer it. Where did God come from? Religious freaks say "he was always there". Doing what? Just hanging out? He got bored so he started inventing stuff?

And why is he so mean????? He's been mean since the beginning of time, for crying out loud.

And tell me this, as long as I am asking quiestions on a Sunday, how in the heck do you expect to raise your kids to believe in God when the first thing you do is tell them about the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny? Maybe that is why so many of us don't believe in God. As kids we're going "No way man, you lied to me about the really cool guys that gave me presents, now you want me to believe this mean guy is real too. No!"

Below is the passage to which I'm referring. If we are to take this admonition quite broadly and literally, it takes out a WHOLE lot of people who call themselves Christians:

"9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

For the past few weeks this church in my neighborhood is sending people to my door at random times. It's getting to the point to where Im avoiding being home or answering my door. I was just curious if no solicitation signs also apply to religious people pressing their religion on you?

They keep making snide comments like "oh your going to have three children,, How can you afford that? I dont think you can"? I keep telling them "im not interested" but they wont take no for an answer. What do I have to do MOVE!!

as bigger people, is it not our duty to show patience towards them? after all, they have been brainwashed and hypnotized. they were told that they must infest the earth with their parroted doctrine. isn't it time to pity those victims of hypnotism and brainwashing?

I keep asking and talking to God and I think another answer has come today, Submission's antonym is RESIST, so I asked myself, "Wendy what did you do when your kids resisted you and I said "I gave them time out" and what is God doing to me now ??????

I am a alcoholic! I have not touched a drink for 18 months.

2 years ago my husband and I went to a party and we both got drunk and I decided to drive home and we had a car accident and I killed my husband, we were married for 32 years, I was convicted and sent to a drug centre to dry out, which I did, while I was at the centre I found Jesus and welcomed Him into my heart and since I have lived a Christian life. praise God

My problem is my children will not talk to me because I killed their father while I was drunk, how do I convince them that I have changed thanks to Jesus and I no longer drink, I have grandchildren that I have never met and I want to get to know them and for my own children to love me again. We live in the same city but I have not seen them for 2 years

How do I convince them that I have changed and became a Christian, please help me?

submission seems to be a key word and to resist is the antonym, so we are not to resist God, we are to do what He wants us to do each day, each hour, every minute, SO HOW DO WE KNOW AND PLEASE USE YOUR OWN WORDS, not verses unless just as the reference from which you drived your own worded answer, I like to look up your references but I like to hear it in real, everyday language.

I mean, their parents pay hundreds of dollars for the systems and hundreds more for the games and when the kids get the games, the first thing they want after getting the games is how to cheat? Why is that? I see questions here all the time asking for cheat codes? If they wanted the game for enjoyment, why don't they just play the game? Instead after one day or less, they are searching for cheat codes? Somehow that doesn't seem like a good way to enjoy a game.
