No.

They are just up there spewing what they have heard elsewhere.

You are not old enough to parse information at that age. If they were they'd probably be in graduate school.

I saw that blurb in the news too. Jesus was 12 years old and was taught the Bible by his God fearing parents. Actually society says that the age of 10 is considered the age of reason. Even newspapers are written at a 5th grade level of reading ability. However, one has to take in accurate knowledge of God's word, plus know who God is and his son. Does a 7 to 9 year old really have the wisdom and knowledge to preach and be a minister? I think that if a child feels that he can, then he needs to be baptized after a detailed study of the Bible. Rarely will a child do this unless he has no other focus in life.

I will not place limits on what God can do... if he wants someone to do something and they are receptive to him... then God's Will, will be done..... but I would need to know a lot more than what I saw on that clip to make a decision for my self... I have seen very young children mimic what they see adults doing... and some of them are very good at it...add in the selfinduced hystaria that is common in such sevices as seen in those clips and you have the oportunity for an otherwise very bright child to take up a behavior pattern that he has seen is one that gains attention... kids will run with anything that will gain them attention... and if their behavior is further encouraged... you can end up with what you see in those two young boys... ther are plenty of con men using the "god shpeal"... that kind of performance can be learned and used by anyone... god may not have anything to do with it... but I just do not have enough evidence to decide from where I sit.... though I am doubting for sure.

A minister would need to have some grasp of the hardships and temptations of the world, in order to effectively counsel people. A 7-9 year old just isn't there.

Jesus taught in the temple at age 12. At 7-9 I don't think they would be able to really understand but people do mature differently so I am sure it is possible that they understand.

yea it is weired , i hear about some like those kids in the same age who preaches also in my religion , it is very rare.

for about jesus , he spoke when he was young would that count as a greater miracle:

When Mary carried the baby Jesus to her people, they questioned her; and as a baby in her arms, Jesus gave them the answer. The Qur'an describes this scene in detail:

*{He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet; And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live; (He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable; So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!"}* (Maryam 19:26-33)

And so the baby Jesus defended his mother from any accusations of adultery, and in a nutshell, explained who he was and why he was sent by God.

I feel say its not for us to say what God calls someone to do..if He calls 9 yr olds to preach and sets the word of God on fire in them then they should do as they are called..i say its us humans that should not be so judgemental and should pray for these young men to do what God has ask them to do...

No. Al Sharpton started "preaching" at that age and just look at how ridiculous he is now...

Samuel the prophet started as a young child.

I saw that this morning too. And you beat me to posting it. ;)

The thing that bothered me about this is that the kids seemed more like parrots than preachers. Just regurgitating what they've heard. I don't think they're mature enough to lead a congregation. And I became very worried about whether or not they were just being pushed by the adults around them for sensationalism's sake.
