It isn't wrong. It is prideful. Why would you confess a good deed? The actions of the good deed is felt by the receiver and witnessed by God. If you are asking for pat on the back for doing a good deed, then you should be asking yourself why did you really do it in the first place.

Gop knows every minutest detail about us and our actions of every second of our life. There is nothing new we can tell God that He doesn't know already.

One just doesn't confess to confess but actually refers to his sin to repent to God and to ask for forgiveness.

If he's an omniscient being, shouldn't he already know what the good things about you are?

tell Him good and bad its never wrong to talk to God about anything..God is our fiend tell Him everythig just as we would our best friend...
