That's why I tend not to be hard on them. They are just doing what they've had drilled into their heads over and over again they HAVE to do. I pity them more than anything.
It doesn't make their antics any less irritating but it does make it a bit more understandable.

Some folks can be pretty extreme about stuff, and when that 'stuff' involves your eternal soul, yes, they can get carried away. They are not brainwashed-they don't want Satan to win.
