What are real ways to stop resisting God in small ways each day ? read:?

I keep asking and talking to God and I think another answer has come today, Submission's antonym is RESIST, so I asked myself, "Wendy what did you do when your kids resisted you and I said "I gave them time out" and what is God doing to me now ??????
GOD IS GIVING ME TIME OUT UNTIL I STOP RESISTING LIKE AND I START BEING LESS SELF SUFFICIENT AND LET HIM USE ME. BUT HOW DO i DO THIS GOD ?????????????

maybe you could start by obeying him. Read your bible everyday. start with 5 mins or so and then increase as you're ready. Pray, give thanks before meals, take your decisions to God before you make them...

God doesn't give you a time out. He's with us all the time. If you're born again, pray that your spirit leads you and submits to the holy spirit. You can't hear God when your spirit isn't leading you.

If you're not born again, then ask Jesus to forgive your sins and the holy spirit will come onto/into you and you'll feel it. (it's pretty great).
