The second emanation of "God" into phenomenal existence resulted in the formation of a Logos, which was the word as Light.
God didn't exist until "Nothing" realized it was "Something" thus splitting Itself into Dark & Light.
Then, yes, "God" was not bored, but lonely, and so started creating distinctions out of the pure potentiality of the Darkness, using the Light to create contrast and polarity, of which I needn't tell you, reality is formed. If there were no opposites reality would cease to exist.
As far as "God" being mean, I assume you are referring to the Hebrew God of the Old Testament. Is that your only concept of "God" ?
The Mythical Beings you mentioned, such as the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny, are the West's archetypal traditions. The Easter Bunny comes from old Pagan fertility rites. Santa Claus from an old Nordic Yuletide tradition. The Tooth Fairy stemmed from the practice of hiding children's teeth from witches, who could use them in sympathetic magick to lay curses. So the first two stem from ancient religions, the last from medieval hysteria.
A world without living myths, is a cold robotic world.

Your questions aren't really very tough, but your perspective is skewed. What I mean by that is you are expecting to be able to see reason from your own (God-given and appointed) limited view of the universe. Take a step back for a minute. You are assuming a few things here that you should ask yourself why you believe you have enough knowledge to do so. Why do you assume things have to come from somewhere? How do you know what 'mean' is? Why do you assume that an entity has to be either 'doing' something or 'just hanging out?' Why do you even assume that the "first thing" people do is tell their kids about fantasy creatures? Okay, first, I'm a mom an da Christian believer. I've never told my kids anything about an Easter Bunny, Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy except that they are make-believe. Second, God created US, and we don't get to create HIM to be what we think He should be or act like. "Mean" is a relative term. Third, if you'll take a little time to learn some basic bible history, no one needed to be "writing down the information" about first events because we're told this was given to Moses by God, and Moses went on to author the first books of the bible. Fourth, there is a favorite scripture of mine that goes, "...for now, we see through a glass darkly, but then, face to face." I take this to mean that our human understanding, our very system of beliefs and what we call 'reason,' 'truth,' 'proof,' or 'reality,' is ALL God given, and there is much, much more. I believe that once we are with HIM, we will see all more clearly and fully, as He does. Do you put your faith in science? Why? Hasn't God revealed to us over and over again that scientists are constantly giving us 'wrong' information that they later 'correct' when they make 'new discoveries?' Lean not upon your own understanding, I say, and God says it too. If you want a more worldly reply, think of God putting it to you this way: That's for ME to know, and you to find out.

OK here's my answer to this question. God's angels have different jobs in Heaven. He's had angels in charge of from the beginning of Him creating the physical realm to record the events and even the conversations between Him and humans from the first day of Genesis until the last word spoken in the New Testament. These angels jobs were equivalent to the court reporters job in the court room. They were to record every word spoken by all parties present. Except for example in the first six days of creation when it is the angels quoting themselves explaining the series of events when humans and writing did not evolve yet. This might sound crazy but that is what happened and will continue to happen since more chapters of the Bible are yet to be written about mankind's history with God from the last word written in The New Testament until now. This way of writing also leads me to believe that Moses did not have the knowledge to write about these events which seem to only have been recorded from non-human eyewitnesses.

I'm just gonna try to answer your first question.
It doesn't make any sense to claim that an omniscient entity has existed for ever before starting to create... erm... things. It would mean that God always knew he was going to create everything, but decided to wait for some unfathomable reason. Whatever the excuse, it shows that God is flawed.
God would either be imperfect, or he would have created everything at the same moment as he was created.
If the latter is true, who created God?

THe information is all scripture is God breathed, in other words was given to men from God ,the bible is a blueprint of life how to so to speak. God is light so understanding the complexities of his nature will be answered when we(if)we get to heaven. God is not mean he gave us the world and what we do is a matter of choice, man is the sinner God gives us free will we can follow him or follow darkness(satan)the world is ruled by satan darkness reigns. For god so loved the world he sent his only begotten son(light)so that who ever believes in him will not parrish(darkness seperation from God)but have everlasting life.We do this by inviting Jesus in are hearts by personal invitation. As far as easter bunny santa ... ...your parents do this out of love for you so that imagination is born that you can see fantasy is ok in its context some of my best times was waking up to christmas tree thinking some jolly fat man had somehow gotten down my chimney! But in my heart I knew it wasnt real, I too felt there was no god untill I accepted Jesus into my life at age 38 before that I followed everything the world has to offer sex drinking etc...etc... I can say I have heard from God he loves me greater than anyone anything and loves you to greater than anyone you can think of and has a plan a hope for you if you open your eyes and heart and listen to that faint voice of youe soul. he is speaking to you . be still and listen.

The jerk you are talking about is not the real God.
You are talking about the Abrahamic misconception of God. This bozo has nothing to do with the real God.
The real God is unconditionally loving. She is not some angry old grouch without a sense of humor who lives on some far off cloud called heaven.
If your 53 and still believe this nonsense you have some serious work to do. Better stop looking to comedians for your religious ideas.
Love and blessings Don

God was not alone, the first of his creations was Jesus in his spirit form. threw Jesus God created all things. And yes there was nothing before God, you could say that God created the whole concept of time and space. Ya its hard for use to understand but that's cuz we all had a beginning.

Yes, he was all alone -- then he got the idea of creating stuff. What's wrong with that?
No one was there to witness it, so later he told Moses. Moses was a prolific writer. Unfortunately Moses was also a pervert. When God discovered he was a pervert he forbade Moses from entering the promised land.
As for your question, why is the Bible god so mean? When God was about to create humans he and Satan had a wager. God said that humans would love him, and Satan said that humans would love him. They argued about it, and Satan agreed to the wager, but only if God gives humans free-will.
So God gave humans free-will, but it soon became apparent that humans did not love God. This made God angry because he was losing the wager. He regretted ever having created humans. (Genesis chapter six)
Not long after that he created Hell, cause he got tired of his rancorous entanglements with "those creeps" as he called them; and decided just to damn the ones that don't love him, and let them writhe and scream in agony in Hell forever.
After that, God was much easier to get along with. Read your Bible.
