I let stuff like that bother me for days. That's not healthy.

Anyone know what that is?

I know im not the only one that gets like that......I just get so annoyed when someone does that, doesn't say excuse me and just looks straight ahead.

Why does no one have any manners anymore?

About the year 300 AD Christian apologist Lucius Lactantius preached against Aristotle and in favour of a flat Earth:
"Those who defend these marvellous fictions, why all things do not fall into that lower part of the heaven ... they have once erred, consistently persevere in their folly, and defend one vain thing by another ... they either discuss philosophy for the sake of a jest, or purposely and knowingly undertake to defend falsehoods ... "
("Divinae institutiones, Book III - Of the False Wisdom of Philosophers " ).

Certain biblical passages implied support for this view:

"And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." (Isaiah 11:12)

"Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them." (Matthew 4:8)

As I see it evolution favors some but not all, most people I know are way smarter than me and some of them like to show it big time,so has evolution made super thinking people and not so smart people like me, I mean is evolution selective to the point of discrimination?

I'm indebted to another answerer for asking the perennial question: if God made Lucifer, then how can Lucifer be evil if not by God's will. I'm an atheist, so I don't believe any of this actually happened, but I want to get some Christian perspectives. The line is always that Lucifer "became evil when he rebelled against God". What I'd like to know is HOW that's supposed to have happened. If angels don't have free will (I may be wrong there, but I was assuming we were supposed to be special in that regard), then how does something that's created without free will foment a rebellion in, of all places, Heaven? What was the process he used to win angels to his cause? Atheist asking for education here folks, no disrespect or trap intended.

Based on I.Q. tests given to members of different professions, pastors and mullahs scored the lowest. The intelligence of some pastors is equivalent to that of an adult monkey, or a 3 year old child. Some border on retardation.

This is somewhat similiar to the first question I asked on R and S today. What would you consider to be the greatest power you have? Would it be your faith, love, hope, or wealth? I imagine for most atheists, their power remains in the substantial things in life, like wealth through money, cars, and bogos nonessential things. A Christian's power remains in faith of God, love of God, and hope in God. Am I being too stereotypical of atheists or what? They have love, but it's not the same love religious people possess. Being an Atheist is like:

A king without his crown,
A pitcher without the mound,
The sky without the ground,
Or music without the sound.

All opinions welcome.
