One unexpected place to look is in an apple. If You cut it along its equator (instead of top to bottom) You will see a surprising sight, a five-pointed star. The speculation is that this Goddess symbol was what made the apple mistakenly chosen as the fruit eaten by Eve and Adam.

Just do an image search (google, for example) on the actual names of the symbol you're looking for.
(Hey, and go to http://wicca.timerift.net and READ IT ALL before your presentation. If I was your teacher (and I've TAed Anthro) I would probably take points off for every myth you spew that said site dispells.)
