Based on I.Q. tests given to members of different professions, pastors and mullahs scored the lowest. The intelligence of some pastors is equivalent to that of an adult monkey, or a 3 year old child. Some border on retardation.

My pastor had a choice of becoming a brain surgeon or a pastor. He chose to become a pastor because the results were eternal and not temporary.

My mentor, Chuck Missler, has a 180 IQ and was on the board of the Ford Motor company.

Obviously, much depends on which pastors you choose to test. However, a good pastor should not be judged by IQ. Give me a pastor with zero educational learning who loves God and can show me how to draw close to Christ any day over these so-called scholars that change scripture to suit their own agenda.

I wonder what the IQ test would show regarding fishermen in Galilee?

1 Corinthians 1:21
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

Well pastors of Evangelical Churchs, I wouldn't really doubt it because they keep their eyes on the 10% they have to get from you so they teach prosperity without thinking of the logistics of it.

I bet you, if it were a Catholic Priest he would have scored higher if that were true. After 5 -12 years of study to become a priest, you have to be smart. The Authority of the Roman Church not going to let an idiot preach idiosyncrasy with a low IQ.

I can't speak for Mullahs - some of which are against things like eating pizza and little girls riding bicycles, but as for those who are in the Lord - he gives strength where there is weakness.

Here is the promise God made to those who are weak:
Isaiah 40:29
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

That theme may be found elsewhere in the Bible:
2 Samuel 22:28
You save the humble, but your eyes are on the haughty to bring them low.

Psalm 41:1
Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.

Psalm 72:13
He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.

It goes on and on. You see, when we are at the top of all others around us, we tend to become confident in ourselves. That might be good in some cases, but in the things of God it is better to be weak, that way He can strengthen us.

I could go on, but I think you get my point. Peace to you.

An IQ test is suppose to test your logical abbilities, which are irregardless of age. You should have close to the same IQ when you are a child as when you are an adult. So, even if that were true, it doesn't really mean anything. Einstein had a higher IQ at 3 than any of us, but that doesn't mean at 3 he was smarter than us.

To people who do not know how IQ works (magley64):

From The Science and Politics of I. Q. By Leon J. Kamin

The test scoring procedure is standardized to produce a mean I.Q. of 100 at every age.

Sorry, you do not know what you are talking about.

Bear in mind that the IQ test is a measure of cultural literacy as much as anything else. If I administer an IQ test designed for my cultural background to someone who does not share my cultural background they will not likely do well.

I don't know the answer, but it sounds made-up. I just wanted to point out to the first respondent that anyone who uses the term "irregardless" when they mean regardless should be banned for life from every uttering another word. Just my opinion, though.

I really must say I question the I.Q. of anyone who would consider the truthfulness of such a statement, or anyone who would make such a statement for that matter.
