Because of her bad choice of wording. She forget that Jesus was Jewish. If you are referring to her comment about Jews becoming Christians. Bad choice of words. She is wrong. Live and let live.
Please, don't judge us all by what some do or say. You are not all the same, neither are we.

Ann Coulter has picked the ball up where Jerry Falwell dropped it. She is nothing more than a machine regurgitating hate-filled rhetoric and tagging it onto the already soiled name of Christianity.
People tend to forget that the word "Christian" means to follow the teachings of Christ and to live a lifestyle according to His teachings. I'm not quite sure where Coulter can fit this in between bashing 9/11 widows, advertising for neo-Nazism on cable TV and calling Senator John Edwards a f@g. By the way, if you can tell me which of Miss Coulter's actions were Christian, then you are a better theology expert than most.
She stands for what I and so many others have become nauseated with when it comes to the Conservative Right. They throw stones and hurl judgment across the board without realizing the stunning irony involved with these so-called "Christians" being about as unchristian as a person can get.
Christianity isn't about cramming your beliefs and morals down everyone else's throat and it never has been. It's about showing others how Christ and His teachings have changed your life through your attitude of grace and mercy towards others... as Christ has shown grace and mercy towards you. And in case you're wondering, this is coming from a person who is not only a Christian, but a lifetime Democrat and a proud Liberal.
I think Ann Coulter should re-read her Bible, and this time I'd pay particular attention to Matthew chapter 7 if I were her. If you cannot show any element of tolerance towards others than you're not preaching Christianity. I believe that's actually called Fascism.

Ann Coulter is not a Christian. She calls herself a Christian, she thinks she's a Christian and she's even appointed herself a spokesperson for Christianity, but she's not a Christian. She can call herself Grand Poohbah of Vorticon 12 but it doesn't mean it's true. Her acts in no way reflect an understanding of the teachings of Jesus. She would have spit on Jesus if she had met him. She is to Christianity what Al Sharpton is to race issues.

I disagree with most of what Ann Coulter says; but I disagree with everything she said during the interview you're referring to.
Christians do not refer to Messianic Jews as "completed Jews" (at least the educated ones don't). This is utter nonsense and anyone who uses this phrase has failed to comprehend the purpose of the New Covenant. The promise of Jeremiah 31:31-34 is not to "complete" the Jews -- it is to TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS FOREVER, which couldn't be done under the old covenant. If you take away sin, you've banished the enmity between God and man; so "completion" is NOT the issue. Duh!
Ann Coulter should learn that she's a pundit and not a theologian. Until then, she should abstain from speaking about subjects she knows nothing about.
As for her comments about wanting the world to be Christian: her comments were utterly lacking in grace, love and humility -- which characterizes ALL of her public statements.
EDIT: Deke, euthanasia is a bit harsh. I vote for duct tape over the mouth and the forceful removal of her cross necklace. Even SHE would get the message.

No, it isn't attacking Christianity. It is disagreeing with Ann Coulter, which every thinking human being will do from time to time.

I would like to know why Ann Coulter is popular. Is it the Paris Hilton phenomenon? She doesn't do anything (except write a few crappy books), but she just shows up every once in a while, says something incredibly stupid, makes a lot of television appearances, then disappears.

The liposuctioned breast-implanted blonde Skeleton, Ann-the-Man Coulter is nothing more than a nebbish. Those who like her or believe her point of view are likely well beyond repair.
She is an inane, noisy, hatemonger, nothing more, and nothing less. I feel ashamed and embarassed on her behalf, and I am always thoroughly amused when she is slammed in the public eye.

Christians want everyone to be christian because we don't want anyone going to Hell. I can't imagine why anyone would be offended that I don't want them to go there.
