I fly it. because my grandfather told me of how his uncle lost his leg to a Yankee bullet while carrying that flag into battle and he told me how losing his leg ruined his life and My dear Grandfather had some tears in his eyes while telling me about how wonderful his uncle was.and he told me how the Yankees burned his grandfathers home down in the middle of the night as well as the whole town of Columbia.S.C.

Alot of people associate the Confederate battle flag as a racial symbol. Its not, to me it is a symbol of the South and I am a proud Southerner. Just as others may be proud Northerners, midwesterners, Texans, etc....

I fly one in my yard on a two foot tall stick so my dog can have a convenient place to leave his scent.
