It is safe to say that a person who doesn't lack inner strength, and doesn't require comfort or support (beyond what they can get from their friends and family) has no reason to become a Christian?

Hi Folks,

I have been ticked off on this site for not believing that Adam and Eve just popped up from nowhere, and that Noah could bung every species on his boat. etc. etc.
Oh dear, am I in trouble with my God for dis-beleif ?

I don't beleive that Ronald Reagan actually made a good US President either.

everytime i hear a story from a christian about a miracle its about how the doctor said "_____" and how it didnt turn out the way the doctor said.

im just curious as to how many christians out there understand that doctors are not always 100% right?

I would love to meet people from the YA community here, and discuss some of the same things in a group I've just created on myspace.

It's for young people in their 20's from different backgrounds to come and discuss their views. It's very very new. LOL.

I know this is complete and total whoring, but I thought it would be a great way to branch out and talk to some new people. Thanks!

I had to read "The Bible Unearthed" for a class at school not too long ago. After that I picked up "The God Delusion" and loved it. So I'm looking for other good books on religion, either from the religious or atheist point of view. I've heard some good things about "Letter to a Christian Nation" and "God is Not Great". It you could rank you favorite books like this and maybe a quick comparison. And/or how did you like "The God Delusion", and how does it compare to other books you've read?

Are getting sick of the same ppl asking questions about racial issues that are in the world? Okay is that all they think about...for example. Aaliyah...okay we know u like white men...u don't have to keep saying it. I 5 years old girl in my son's school was hit by a drunk driver... Doctor's did what they could do... The little girl was in a coma and on life support for 8 months and labeled completely brain dead... Doctors told the parents that there was no hope for their daughter and they should make arrangements for her funeral... One night while sleeping at her daughters bedside in the hospital room the little girl awakened from her coma... 3 weeks later this same little girl was in a coma, on life support, and labeled brain dead walks out of that hospital with absolutely no brain injuries whatsoever... She is alive, happy, and well to this day... Since "science" wrote her off and couldn't do anything for, how could this have happened?

does that make it really the only way? of course not!

same with religion. there are so many ways to God, and it's not just one specific religion or beliefs.

there are so many ways to accomplish the same thing, why are there so many people who think that their ways should be other people's ways as well. that's not right.

1. Where these people, righteous, do good works, do good for other people, feed the poor, be perfect, do not sin; religious leaders of that day?

OR

2. Where they thieves, murders, harlots, sinners and con artist of that day?

If it is question number 1, then why did Jesus choose a tax collector (a sinner) over a religious leader (proclaims to be righteous) in that day?
Mathews 21: 31–32
Jesus said “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.
Luke 18: 9 – 14 (the tax collector and the religious Leader)

If it is question number 2, then why do we act like the religious leaders of that day? We think that we must do good works, be righteous, holy, and say that we believe in God with our lips but not with our hearts, that we do not do his will?
John 6: 28–29 (what works shall we do?)
John 16: 8-9 (of sin; because they do not believe in me)
Mark 16: 15–18 (how do we do the will of God?)

Some of you may know that I have been busy accompanying a friend for all sorts of tests lately and have not been on line. The tests results came in, Marie was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Lyme disease. She never knew she was bitten by a tick. She now is taking antibiotics. We were a little frightened at first because her platelets were very low, then a mild rash, flu like symptoms, the nausea and vomiting joint pain. We still can't find the tick though.
I am back taking care of Brian, her son, with cerebral palsy , epilepsy and schitzophrenia, so life is back to normal!

THe Tank Top Is VERY VERY VERY VERY Low cut and the pants are baby pink with light pink decals. WE also need an out fit for our little boy who is 2 1/2 years old make sure the ideas are meant for our age we are 17 years old and would like something not to kiddish if have an idea for something else make sure mine is VERY VERY VERY VERY revealing. My man likes sexiness. does any one else know where to get a water gun and fake knife make sure it is scary. THANKS :)
