Yes, especially when I have busted my hump and I'm not the first answerer. Then it goes to a vote and some bonehead who typed "idk" gets the Best Answer because most people vote for the first answer rather than scroll.

Sure but in the end what does it really matter? It's not like you get a prize. Besides, I sometimes let my questions go to voting because I don't think ANY desrved a best answer, or I like them all too much to choose. There is nothing wrong with that: that's why yahoo answers has that option.

yea, your right, so I just go back after a couple of days, and pick it for them ! hehe, but I think some people just want an answer that is short, and to the point, or an answer that relates specifically to their particular situation

It's not important. Well not improtant to me anyway. Clearly it is an issue for you.
You seem to think that people have a responcibility to you because you honored them with your efforts and provided a well thought out, through answer.
You answer for yourself and your own reasons, not really for them.
But, you really know this, we all do.

Not really. It's all about choices. They can choose to pick a best answer or let others choose for them. It doesn't bother me either way. Good luck. 2D
