I was wondering that from a question about masturbation last night..

Lust to me is having sexual desire or a desire for pleasure. That is Totally natural and I don't see anything wrong with it. And I know Christians who enjoy sex so they clearly don't think that that is a sin.

Someone suggested to me that it's not the sexual desire that is bad to Christians but being selfish about it is..like only wanting to use someone for sex.

I can agree with that but than I don't understand why some Christians think masturbation is a sin (and some don't) because that is not hurting anyone.

So..could Christians explain to me what you consider to be Lust?

i haven't been reported personally, but sadly the last 4 or 5 stupid questions i've tried responding to have gotten reported before i could finish responding. please, i know it's difficult to resist, but the only way we can truly point out how ridiculous some people are is to leave their questions/answers up to let people know exactly how ridiculous they are.

Just a thought...

It would be, of course, totally optional.

If it went to a public vote, only a best answer would be chosen.

It could remain unknown to the rest of the community, and even anonymously subtract points from the answerer without telling them which of their answers was chosen as "Worst".

...or it could be publically displayed or marked and placed at the bottom of the list of answers, or even permanently deleted.

...or the answer (not the answerer, mind you) could be immediately sent to hell. (...uhh, just kidding!!!)

But seriously...
It could either be a 2 point loss (the two points you get for answering), or a more strict 5 or 10 points to really discourage garbage answers like, "I don't know" or "thanks for the 2 points!"...

I asked this here because this could possibly work in other categories, couldn't it?

But what about in R&S?

Your thoughts?

is that the reason why you're spreading your version of truth?

or is it because you just want to make yourself feel you are right and re-affirm your beliefs by wanting to have more and more people agree with you and convert in your belief system?

So, for example, if I wanted to say "Fred believes in the existence of a god" or "Bert thinks he can prove the non-existence of gods", is there a single word you can use in each case, so you could say "Fred believes in XXXX" or "Bert thinks he can prove YYYY"?

Matthews 7:21 " Noe everyone who says to Me, ' Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 " Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? 23 "And then I will declare to them,' I never knew you, depart from Me, you workers of iniquity!"

Atheists always ask who created God. They object to the idea of God having always existed and not having a creator.

What about subatomic particles? Either they have existed FOREVER or they suddenly came into existence. Neither explanation makes alot of sense, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not true. We don't know the answers to everything.

Same thing with God. I don't think there should be a double standard to where atheists say subatomic particles suddenly appeared from NOTHING, because what created them?

And if subatomic particles have ALWAYS existed, then why attack the idea of God ALWAYS existing?

What are your thoughts?

Is Jesus Christ truly present in the Fundy protestant Churches? How can He be if you dont believe in the Eucharist and Jesus's true presence in it, you just eat a cracker and grape juice,or that baptism is a command from Jesus, that one must be born of water to be born again, not just saying a few words. Where is the tabernacle and altar of Jesus Christ in a fundy protestant church? Iam really curious about this

Deuteronomy 13:6-10 is very clear.

6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. 9 You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

On the same note, Mormans, Muslims and Hindus DUCK......
