is that the reason why you're spreading your version of truth?

or is it because you just want to make yourself feel you are right and re-affirm your beliefs by wanting to have more and more people agree with you and convert in your belief system?

No, we want to remain in control of the country, and we will do that by raising our hands up in the air and crying so our kids will see this and cry too, even if it scares the crap out of them for a while..... We will also throughly spead our propaganda that there is no "global warming" issue...that's obviously ridiculous....there are so many resources and we're not at all close to running out so we shouldn't be thinking about more sustainable methods at all....
We have jesus camp to really thoroughly indoctrinate our kids to become malicious, dedicated children of god and of this country.

Actually...I'm not evangelical. Just making fun. =I

if the idea of salvation was a self pleasing concept it wouldnt involve giving up all the sinful things i used to love to do and forgiving people I want to hold a grudge against. It would also mean that I dont have to tell anyone else jack. I can sit on my butt, keep my mouth shut and be satisfied that Im going to heaven. A co-signer is not needed. I could just say the heck with you Velvet...

But that is not how salvation works. When you accept Christ...your heart (quite beyond your control) longs to see other people healed, delivered and saved. So even though I dont know you from a can of paint..and you may never ever accept Christ...I am moved...to share the Good News with you.

Look at it this way. When you buy a product and it works real well for you, you tell people about it. " Oh, check out this product I used it's great!" Its much the same. If you have a strong spiritual connection with God, and it's a fundemental part of your life, you like to spread the word, not to push your belifs on to others, but to share something that is doing good with you. You feel content having people get what they will from your exeriences. If they convert great, if not fine. It's not a contest or a race to see how many people to can get to agree with you. Hope I helped.

First of all, I care very much about other's souls, or I wouldn't tell them the truth. I would just let them go on believing the lies they are believing, and watching them perish. God calls us to spread the good news, so that's what we do. It isn't our news, but God's. It isn't about us "being right" There is only one version of the truth, and that's the Holy Bible. This isn't about making myself "feel right" It is the word about God's plan for salvation. It's about the Lord, the Master, Jesus Christ, and what He's done, not what I have done or am doing. It's all about Jesus. Not about me. God Bless

Yes. Don't judge us all, just because of what you see here on R&S.

We are commanded to:

Acts 1:7-8 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

7He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

When it comes right down to it, we must follow what Peter said in:

Acts 5:29 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

29Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men!

We CHOOSE to follow our Lord, but for those Believers like myself, we will never force our beliefs upon ANYONE, because Jesus never did.

ive cried about other peoples souls including my family
because it is genuine love.God is not willing that any should
perish, but just look around you at all the evils in the world
and all the people that perpetrate it.
its no wonder why the scripture says that few there be that
finds the path that leads to life.
look at all the evil done by false religions and cults and the
bible says there would be false prophets arise and deceive
many.
of coarse real christians worry about other peoples souls
because they would like to see them experience the grace
of God our Lord and savior Jesus Christ instead of later
experiencing his wrath.

I do not need anyone else's affirmation to affirm my beliefs. They are rock solid. I will share the truth to anyone who asks or appears open to it. Including anyone who asks a question in this section.

That's a valid question.
Many believers of many different faiths probably fall into this generalization, but not all.
There are those who truly love their Savior and want to do as He asks. These people also love those who are where they have been; lost, headed for hell.
Just as I would grab a person from falling off the edge of a cliff I will tell those who are headed for sure destruction in hell how to avoid it.

Therefore:
Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, died on the cross to save us from our sin, rose the third day to conquer death for us, ascended to heaven to prepare a place for us, and is coming back to get all who believe this.
Do you believe this?
Would you like to go with Jesus when He returns?

I might be an Evangelist, but I know I am not a Fundamentalist.

What I care about is what God cares about. If He sends a person who is seeking Him, I will try to have Him guide me to what I have to say. I think it's important to be here or anywhere else for God, not for ourselves.

God created the universe by speaking words. And so with words I serve Him.

Of course I care about other people's soles. The Bible even tell us to care.
Anyone that feels as the later part of your question, probably is not really Christian.
