Hi Folks,

I have been ticked off on this site for not believing that Adam and Eve just popped up from nowhere, and that Noah could bung every species on his boat. etc. etc.
Oh dear, am I in trouble with my God for dis-beleif ?

I don't beleive that Ronald Reagan actually made a good US President either.

The US was in better economic shape and we had a greater respect around the world without so much use of the military while Ronnie was President. But my understanding of world and national affairs wouldn't have much affect on your understanding. Same way with Religion. My belief in the Bible and in Jesus would only have a marginal affect on you. But in answer to your question, your lack of belief in Adam and Eve indicates a lack of belief in the Bible in general, and a lack of belief in Jesus as the Son of God. According to the Bible, this would have you in 'deep water.' But I couldn't draw any conclusions about your salvation except to relay the Biblical fact that belief in Jesus is a necessity for salvation. Still, it's your decision.

I dont know why you should get ticked off. Adam and Eve are just two fictional characters in the myth and of course Noah could not bung every species on his boat not even it you use the silly creationist excuse that they were "kinds" Sorry I cant judge about Ronald Reagan you have had so many doubtful presidents in the past I would not know what standard you measure a president against

Come on, surely you're not questioning the word of the bible? Piece of cake to round up two of everything on the planet, then feed them all for a month without them all eating each other anyway. I'm glad I didn't have to swab the decks though. As for Adam and Eve, well you've either got the faith or you haven't. All makes perfect common sense to me. Parting the red sea takes a bit of believing though. And as for Ronald Reagan..............

We are all entitled to our beliefs. One day we shall all know the truth.
If we all believed blindly in the same thing what a bore we would all be.

Keep sending in your views just remember your views may be criticised and try not to preach.
Not sure about President Reagan although it was a bit scary to think that a President was suffering from Alzheimers and had control of nuclear weapons. I wont give my old man the remote control for the T.V.....hey ho......

Hi to you too...
Well God made Adam & Eve - He created them form the dust so they didn't pop up from nowhere - so i don't think your in trouble for that one LOL.
God loves you and if your in deep waters He will rescue you i'm sure - maybe you could read about God from the beginning in genesis and you will see how God breathed into Adam's nostrils and he became a living soul - God then put Adam to sleep - took his rib - and made a companion for him and named her Eve - you will also find the story of Noah, his family and how all the animals got into the ark - why it was built and how long it took to build - it's a wonderful story of God's love for mankind - but also how ppl were wicked to the point where God regreted making them - i'm sure you'll enjoy it. : )

I think you'd be more in trouble with your god for thinking reagan WAS a good president, unless of course your god is satan.

Bob, you can not be in deep water with respect to religion, for it is very shallow. If you dive deep in any religion you would crack the very fragile container - no science is a deep dark pool, but religion is a shallow reflective and very bitter water.
