Can you wear headphones and listen to music? I used to work in a large room with 15 women and yes, there was a lot of stupidity in that office. My headphones saved my life!

i would strongly suggest that you drink several shots of the strongest whiskey that you can get your hands on just before going into work - then you will both be happy & contented & also a little worried about breathing your whiskey breath on others if you open your mouth to comment on something!

Distract yourself. Think of something in your head that will take your attention away from them. Anything, think of what you'd like to buy next for yourself, what you're going to do this weekend, think about your bf or whatever works. Just do all you can to block it out.

Well, you just do. Or, depending on what they say, you can comment back. It doesn't have to be rude, but enough to let them know that you don't appreciate what they are saying. An example would help.

I think it depends on what you want them to think of you.
If you dont care what they think then you can just ignore until they stop talking to you.
If you want people to think you are nice person maybe you can try and deal with them in an intelligent manner (without being ironic).
does that help?

You can say, "Excuse me, I have work to do." Continuing such a conversation is pointless.
