It's like i'm talking to a group of 4 year olds.

Why would i, under ANY circumstance, care to dedicate THOUSANDS of dollars, YEARS OF MY LIFE to LEARN about SOMETHING i DO NOT need to KNOW?! (keeping on topic) Like SCIENCE?!

IF for ANY reason i happen to learn a thing or two about the subject relative to my interests i WILL remember it. But i keep getting answers like "You must be a moron if you don't know about science".

Seriously, talk to me about art techniques, styles AND history and i'll bury you. Sure it may not contribute to the rest of the world, but neither do 90%+ of the scientists out there. I just know different things.

Here's the last question

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." Psalm 9:17.

As long as we allow the secular humanists to keep this a godless nation, we are all in danger of damnation. The wicked among us make us wicked by association. Certainly God would rather have our obedience than to have us be a free country. Now we must determine which of our churches will guide our new national religion.

I suggest MY church, the Assembly of God, as it offers the only true path to salvation. Can we all agree with this?

Do you have any family members who have done this? Not "home schoolers" but fundy home schoolers.

I have 8 neices and nephews who have never been into public school. Both sisters tried very hard to be the best teachers they could be and gave sincere effort. Now that the kids are entering adulthood, they are becomming train wrecks. Many are dropping out. Only one has even attempted college. Mostly they are fired from a succession of jobs and have massive relationship problems.

Compared to the "public educated" kids in the family, who are in school, on scholarships, happy in healthy relationships or working. Am I alone here? What are your experiences?

while women say blondes get much more attention? Just from observation and being a blonde, I have noticed that blondes do get a lot of attention. I'm not the hottest chick in the world, I'm a little above average, but I see most male heads turn when they see long blonde hair and a decent body enter the room. But then so many men claim they don't like blondes. I see that generally a blonde will get more attention than a brunette of equal attractiveness.

Do men actually equate stereotypical personality traits into their preference? Are they afraid to say they like blondes because they don't want to be viewed as preferring the ditzy, shallow type? Do they actually believe those stereotypes? Or is there something unattractive about the blonde hair itself? Just curious.

I would prefer somewhat intelligent answers, not just "I like blondes" or "I like brunettes" Any deep thoughts?

I've been with my Christian boyfriend for two years. He's a great guy, has a great job and spends lots of money on me. He treats me like a queen. We got to church together and he's very strict about following the scriptures. We avoid anything that would tempt us into premaritial sex. We kiss but no tongue touching is allowed and no touching below the neckline.

My Atheist boyfriend, I met about a month ago at a coffee shop. He doesn't make a whole lot of money working as a college teacher, but what he lacks for in money, he makes up in passion. From the day that we met, we've been wildly physically attracted. He can't keep his hands off of me. I just love his mind and his body. I'm just not sure he's the type I want to settle down with or who can support me in the proper fashion.

What to do?

I've just been having a tough time lately with a relationship of all things, and I've been praying a lot, but really what I ask for is not along the lines of ending world hunger, help for the sick, just sort of selfish emotional stuff, but the more I ask for help from God, the more my problem is getting resolved and the more I see and understand about the situation and I feel kind of bad because I really have nothing to complain about in the grand scheme of things and I feel that maybe I am getting too much help considering everything else that is going on? I know people who ask for help all the time, real help like with kids and mortgages, and I guess I'm surprised that what's important to me God may think is important too.

Think I'm nuts, huh? I can't explain it but everything I've asked for, I've gotten, and I'm not the usual basket case that I can be given how insane my situation is right now. I'm thankful, I'm grateful too.

assumes that evolution on the microorganism scale is indeed fact? If so, and by extension, if ALL scientists were Christian, many diseases would never have been cured and the cure for many diseases in the future will never be found. Do you understand the question?

Is this the line of thinking?

If everything has been set on a path that has no variables that can influence the outcome, why pray? If you do, or if you don't, God already knows, and your prayer or lack thereof, has already been accounted for.

Do you think praying for you or your spouse to get a promotion at work really weighs heavily on God's mind? Thousands of children die each day of starvation, many of them praying to God. Is the promotion more important than the child? If God does not care about the youngster, why would you or your trival "problem" matter in the least to him?

I am just trying to point out that not only is prayer a clinically delusional and perhaps schizophrenic behavior, but also that it serves no purpose, no matter which side of the coin you look at it.

Have fun talking to yourselves.

P.S. - Please feel free to call me names and judge me, creating a situation in which you "sin". LoL.

When you've apparently offended someone and you're trying to understand where they are coming from, but they don't want to tell you. Instead they immediately write you off and say something like, "We're just not going to get along."

-sigh- I can't seem to get any peace with this woman.Anyway I'm dating a white boy. He's 16 hot as fxck with long black hair. He has both ears peirced. My mom says it's wrong for men to have their ears peirced and that because he has long hair(down to his back) he is gay.-rolls eyes- I'm 14 and I can't reason with this lady. I'm 14 and I'm black. I'm a pagan but I lied and told her I was agnostic. He's athiest. She claims I left Christianity because of him. We have been arguing for a week. I'm seriously close to telling her to shut the hell up. She forces me to say prayers and prevents me from partying.(Which is my favorite hobby.) This week has been nothing but church. Help MEEE!!!

I've been dating someone with different view on religion than my own for 7 months. It bothers my family more than me about his "faith. I've always held my family's opinion high, and it has become painful recently between my mother and I because she's scared I'm going to change.

I don't like labeling myself a"religion," but I believe that Jesus Christ is the way to salvation. I am not perfect, but I strive to respect and show others the love that Jesus did when He walked this earth. My boyfriend doesn't believe that Jesus is the way to salvation. This bothered me at first when we first started talking, but now I see he respects my faith and views, is very respectful, thoughtful and the most caring companion I've ever met. We talk about the differences in our views and respect each other's "beliefs."

How can I make my family and boyfriend see eye to eye? My mom will not give him the time of day because of his "faith" and constantly condemns me. I just want to make everyone happy.
