The recently implemented Yahoo Answers report system....
.... is largely automated. Very simple in concept....
You report someone.... and their content is either deleted or not deleted based on a few factors:
#1. Whether it supposedly violates the terms of service (minor)
#2. Your influence level (major)

If it is deleted then your influence goes up.
If it isn't then your infleunce goes down.

This results in a positive feedback mechanism..... a cascade if you will. If your reported content gets deleted, you are more able to get anything else you report deleted, which gives you more and more deleting power. On the flipside... if it doesn't, then you continually lose influence until you have none at all.

Since different sides are going to be working against each other though... what this means is that the side with the most reporters is going to gain the most influence.... while the other side loses it.... until one side has ALL the influence...

Two of the gospels claim that both thieves reviled Jesus--one of them claims that one reviled him and the other begged forgiveness--and the fourth doesn't mention them. I've heard some theories that both thieves started out reviling him but then one changed his mind, but that doesn't ring true.

So which account is false?

I'm a young black college student looking for a good job, and for some reason, I can't get one! I put in so many applications and not one place calls back. What really makes me angry about this is the fact that I go into these places that I want to work at and their employees are rude and disrespectful people. I wonder how they even got the job when all they do is get an attitude with any customer who walks into the building.
I like to think that I'm a good model citizen. I make A's and B's, I'm in a few clubs at school; I was brought up to have respect for everyone even if they didn't show it back. My parents were in the Marines, so I'm always looking nice before I leave my house (They won't even let me wear plain jeans and a tee-shirt around the house). I've never been in trouble at school, and I was accepted into a Technical school during my junior year in high school so I KNOW I have enough knowledge for the jobs that I want to do. So why won't these people hire me?

Cops are interesting because they all seem to speak/act/understand a certain language that most other people are, at the very least, unfamiliar with.

Do you think it's just the type of people that decide to become a cop? Or maybe the training and the environment is what shapes their behavior, or maybe a mix of the two or something else completely?

The reason I want to know is because of all the cops I know personally, hardly any of them are really known to be nice guys, and none of them are easy going. I mean, they're cool to joke around with and play sports with, but you always have to be careful about what you say and do or else they just cut you off, whereas almost anyone else would be fine with it.

Does anybody else out there understand what I'm getting at here? It's like talking to fundamentalist Christians, tip toeing through every topic and every word you say so not to offend them.

ok. I want to know some of the things that annoy ppl.... one thing that gets to me is when you're on a bus or train and a fat person sits next to you (no offense to anyone b/c i know it's normal to not be a six!!) and they take up their whole seat and practically all YOURS and then catch attitudes as if you're the one who is inconveniencing them!!

Today i was on greyhound and i had one leg and butt cheek off the chair and was so uncomfortable!!
