I am rather disappointed in her attitude. She created a question (it felt) deliberately to pick a fight. However she did have some interesting points... ( I happen to have read it all)
Anyway, I do not think this was the most tactful way to promote religious tolerance-the person was to young and to angry to pay attention to. I understand that an individual would want to change the perceptions of others from something negative to a positive one, but this was the wrong way to go about it.
However, I am not surprised by this question or the bible thumpers answers' responses. We have all seen it before and heard the exact same answers every time.
I think it would have been more appropriate if she created a question page for christians and others alike to ask questions concerning a pagan faith. She would then answer in an appropriate manner, which could then ultimately help religious tolerance.
Thats what I would do anyway....

A) that was not a good idea for helping the general feelings about Wicca

I couldn't read all of it. First I was getting annoyed with her acting just like others that persecute other religions. Secondly it was just too long for me to waste my time to read. It is definitely not showing religious tolerance, and is definitely not what I (as a Wicca) or any other pagan person I have met and know is about. There are people like that in every religion and they are the ones that make the rest seem like a**holes. it is quite sad.

What you mean the way the christians jumped on her for her beliefs and her tactless way of saying them? I think the christians were wrong. I think she needs to learn to be tactful. Now I'm not sure why you just pointed this out to the Wiccans and Witches but you should have pointed it out to all of those involved.

i think of fake impact of Christianity makes people think of we ought to constantly tolerate evil ideals. by no ability did Jesus say all religions are stable. He suggested He became the reality and how and basically by using Him. I have no subject asserting I hate Islam, different than that some people could probably pick to throw me in penitentiary for hate speech for asserting that. I recommend, we ought to constantly hate ideologies that coach violence, precise? we ought to constantly hate pedophilia, precise? we ought to constantly hate lies...they reason a good style of issues. we ought to constantly hate Islam...it motives a good style of issues. Now people will throw out the Crusades and abortion hospital bombings and say that's how Christians act. I say, think of of Jesus on the bypass and what he asked of God. He asked Our Father to forgive His killers. How can anybody blame Jesus for abortion clinicc bombings, that have been few and lots between i could upload? you are able to no longer. that's basically a distraction to get your recommendations off the real subject, that's islam. Islam has been violent from the start. Muhammad's followers killed. The disciples of Jesus have been killed. Muhammad died and there became killing over who ought to lead the Muslims. Sunni and Shia have been killing one yet another ever considering the fact that, and anybody else who became interior the way! i think so strongly in freedom of religion. I in basic terms have a stressful time questioning of Islam AS a faith. that's no longer from God. that's no longer approximately love. that's no longer non secular. that's controlling, barbaric, militaristic, political. Christianity has separation of church and state. Jesus suggested to render to Caesar what's Caesar's and to God what's God's. Allah suggested each thing is for me. there is not any freedom with islam and that's in basic terms incorrect.

My impression from other questions from her is that she is very young. She hasn't gotten over her angry phase, and I strongly suspect that she's under the influence of some terrible source material (although she may be trying to correct that)

I don't see how she hoped to accomplish like that.
surely she realizes that if we act like that then we are no better than any other person who ever persecuted. this isn't even close to what should be said.
it is not the view of any other pagan I've ever met.

It saddens me. So much obsession and intolerence from her. That is not what we are about. I don't understand her motives behind that post.
