"As the light pauses, feel the volume of the sky, mark your place in the with another question why".

Not the most straightforward thing in the world to translate, but I'd be greatful if someone could have a go.

Thanks

last bit should have been "mark your place in time with another question why"

The commas have enormous influence on the form of the verb in your sentence.. and I also believe that when you said that the " light pauses," you are referring to light that is pausing (hence the difference in verbs and meaning of the two offered translations here- the translation above refers to pauses as breaks, "light/easy breaks"). If I am wrong and it is the breaks you are aiming for, please let me know.
In Norwegian language it is also common to place possessive pronouns after the noun, f.ex. navnet mitt (my name), thus "stedet ditt" ( "your place"- stedet means place, diit means yours)).

So:

"Mens lyset stanser, føl volumet av himmelen, marker stedet ditt i tiden med enda et spørsmål hvorfor".

Som de lette pausene føler volumet av himmelen, merker din sted i det med enda et spørsmål hvorfor.
