Or would he still have gotten his butt kicked? Or was his miracle the fact that a second rate kickboxer, with no special talent, actually won the title to begin with?

The miracle was that he won it to begin with. I remember him in is prime, and he wasn't that good. He didn't have 100 fights in his entire career, I remember a certain blue demon winning that many in 1yr. Difference is you managed to keep your brain cells, while he got sheepled.

That is hard to say. Finding God makes someone strong in a spiritual way, and not necessarily physical. That is not to say that God might not give him special dispensation to physical strength. Having God in ones life gives direction, not perfection. Having God in his life back then may have caused him to train harder and spend less time with things unimportant to his success. Pardon the pun, but that is an enigma
