Siddhartha (Buddha to those whom are less enlightened) and Ganesha are both teachers of wisdom, and therefore would not bother with such a battle. You may also consider that Ganesha is a god and and Siddhartha (Buddha) was just a man.

That is like asking whether cows or pigs can fly higher.... when neither fly...
Neither Buddha nor Ganesha fights... by nature.... so neither would win in a fight. They'd just sit there and do nothing.

Things that don't exist can't fight each other. unless someone draws a ficticious fight, but if that happened, the artist would use his/her personal bias of the subject to decide the outcome.
so neither would win, because neither exist

I dunno.... I'm all for Buddha winning, but that Ganesh with all the arms.... hmmm..... Ganesh would probably win. It's just those crazy arms. Buddha wouldn't stand a chance against them. =P
edit: but seriously, they'd probably settle out their differences using intelligent debate and thought.

both are great, dont compare. dont be under illusion that one god is greater than other.
try to know how hindus balance respect for all gods.
People who mock gods should grow up. Those gods are thousands of years old, and mocking gods is like mocking you own tradition once they become old.

sri.Bhuddha and sri.Ganesha are not so INSANE to fight two world wars and kill 65,000,000 people of their own religion and kill in gas chambers 6,000,000 innocent,innocuous people in the name of religion.sri.Buddha and sri.Ganesha are very friendly.
