I didn't think so, until I was listening to him speak today and his use of the English language put me in mind of an old ex-slave. Especially the use of the word "ax" in the place of "ask". He is an educated man, is he not?

When I went to the post office a while ago, I saw a rather elderly grey haired gentleman driving past me. His license plate read "Grumpa" and it made me smile. Have you seen any amusing plates lately?

How do we go on, as a whole of people, they expect us to just pick up. We were in slavery for over 400 hundred years, more years then we have been free. Then after that drugs and guns where put into our neighborhood. So now the children don’t come out right they come out already addicted to crack because there parents were, they come out brain damaged……..they expect something so special of us when we live around this………when no one actually teaches us, they just see us as paychecks….there are so many questions, who planned this, why, who planned this whole thing to screw us over….....if we are to pray to god why didn’t he stop this, why didn’t he help us?????

If the government cares so much why didn’t they stop the drug flow???????
Why don’t they raise the price to ammunition, unless they truly wanted us to kill our self’s and each other………if one bullet was the prince of $5, 000 dollars would some one waste all there time jus to get that money and by the time that they get it the

did Adam and Eve have belly buttons? Were they Jewish? Or were they baptised, and if so, by who? But please don't say the Snake did the honors, because according to Scripture he played a whole different role.

He's not someone that I have spoken to in a while. We were very good friends in high school and college. We are both 30 now. He has since moved across the country. I found out through a mutual friend that he has come out of the closet. Evidently, he had a really tough time with this, even contemplating suicide. I would like to make contact with him and tell him everything is cool. I'm glad that he has found himself and wish him the best. The thing is, during our friendship, we were very much alpha males and I had no idea that he was gay. I think he would feel very awkward around me and maybe think I would not like him now knowing that he is gay. Anyone had a similar experience. Where do I go from here?

Primarily the prevalence of children born out of wedlock, the glorification of negative rap music, the number of women who are left to raise their children without support from their father, and an adoration for the thug mentality.

Would a man be considered a traitor to his gender if he said that 60% of men cheat on their wives? Would he get called names? Would a Mexican be called a race-traitor if he spoke on the large number of Mexicans who are here illegally?

Just wondering why people are so defensive? If you could respond without using expletives and/or rudeness, it would be nice. Thanks.

Does this mean that the prayer to God is much more open then you hear from the preacher man? I don't see any mention of being a sinner just unconditional acceptance to those who ask him. I guess I'm asking is the prayer to the lord is much more open and not a formula?

42Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[a]"

43Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

If He is or was what does this verse mean? If He was a man once wouldn't He have been the son of a man? It seems clear that this verse says God is not and has never been a man (Note I refer to God the Father. Not God the Son, Jesus, who allowed Himself to be born on Earth).

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

If a star 6 Billion light years away goes supernova and the light from the star is reaching the Earth now then the Universe must be at least 6 billion years or older.

Did the star supernova before God existed?

If he does come back, why now? Why not in 2000 more years or 150 years ago? Why doesn't he keep coming back more often if it's such a needed thing? Why would he even need to come back? If it didn't work the first time, what chance will it have the second?

What will he say that will change humanity that the rest of his followers couldn't say? How would you even know it was him and not another crazy homeless guy saying it?

Maybe you've already missed him? Maybe he already came and no one, again, listened. Not everyone did the first time, why would they the second time or the third time or the fourth time?

Why is it so required he return? Last time he was here, he was executed on a cross. Please, do not reference a single bible quote, not one chapter, not one verse, I want your own logical, rational, deduction of "why."

Paul was a Jew, a Pharisee, who did his teaching and preaching in the synagogues wherever he went. He never taught rejection of his people, the Jews. Near the end of his recorded ministry, he stood in Rome and said, “"Brethren, though I had done nothing against the people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans" (Acts 28:17).” The people whom he called “brethren” were Jews.

The gentiles, who were early converts or who took an interest in the teachings of Yeshua that were taught by the apostles, went to the synagogues to learn in the early days. “Trying to peddle the Gospel in the pagan marketplace would have been like trying to sell fresh fruit in a hardware store.” [Netivyah, “Paul and the Synagogue”]

If you’re interested in knowing what Paul really did and what he really did not do, I recommend two websites:
