I am part Cherokee Indian and I have greenish-brown eyes. Is the person full Cherokee or just partial? That might help you out a little.

True Indians are blue eyed . As for Cherokee not being Indian . You just quoted . White people intermingled with them . They did this with all Indians. If this is your reasoning behind not being Indian. Then you can t say no one is a Indian. Common sense . Be fair across the board

Pure blood Cherokee is a bit of a misnomer.
They were interbred with french furtrappers before Anglos were exposed to them.
Their 'pure' native blood was gone a long. long time ago.

To all other tribes the Cherokee thing is a bit of a joke. Every white person claims to be part indian and the reply is 'Really? Let me guess your part Cherokee right?'
No offense to all you pale skinned 'part Cherokees', but it is the truth.

Hate to burst some peoples bubble but the French and Spanish were all over N America long before the rest of the yonega's caught up In which case, if your theory holds true, there are likely no "pure bloods" any where an your much darker skin could just as easily come from some Frenchman's African slave

My mother in law, husband and daughter are Cherokee my mother in law being half. They all have very dark brown eyes. But of course having blue or green eyes is possible if you have whites in your family. But it is not a natural trait of the Cherokees.

Just curious what this has to do with being gay or lesbian?

Native American Indians have dark brown eyes...sometimes gray and sometimes black. Anglo eyes bring in the blue and greens.

I have done lots of research on this to be exact... yes they can, even red hair. Cherokee Indians are the only native americans likely to have them though.
