You should dress up as a leather-clad biker and he in white-collar office wear. It'd definitely give the impression that you were dominant to him. You can pull on his tie if he gets out of line.
Even if you don't go with that idea, he should have a collar/choker no matter what. I find that gives the impression that you're kinky, but that you're of the submissive type of kinky, especially if they're worn by the male gender.
Of course, you could ask him want he'd want to wear. It is his sort of coming out. He might have some pretty great ideas. Plus, he's probably had fantasies of various wear, so he might be able to fulfill that idea.

i'm guessing that a full costume is needed, that is, nothing revealing. Sooo i would humbly suggest that You dress him with a "french maid" costume, complete with a white apron, stockings, heels and a little hat.
You may wish to consider a collar around his neck and have a leash attached to it. You may wish to tie the leash to a post or something while You socialize with the O/others. he of course would be standing or kneeling, not sitting.
he must serve You while there, and he must obey Your orders, like get S/someone a drink, etc.
Under his costume, You could put a chastity belt or gates of hell attachment so he feels it every time he gets excited...

When I go to parties with my mistress I always go as her maid. I get her drinks, carry her bag and her whip case and stand by her with a tray for her to put her drink on. Sometimes she puts me on a collar a leash and if she wants to wander about socialising she will tie the leash to her chair so I can guard that and her bag. Of course I have a number of maid uniforms I can choose from which you may not have but a pair of trunks and a dog collar and leash are not expensive. I have been put on hands and knees and used as a table and a stool. the last one was on television

You need to dress him in a latex catsuit, gloves and a hood. He needs a great pair of sexy boots and make sure you have a ball gag for him. You need to have a sexy rubber collar that has a o'ring attached so you can put a leash on him.

Awww you should have him dress in something nice like a frilly-maids dress,complete with heels etc(let him find out if they're good to walk in or not!).
Maybe present him with a collar,with a dog-tag inscribed with his name and status on it.(my t-girl g/f has a lovely one in red leather with inscription on it..and a stainless steel one that locks for day to day wear when she has to be in male-mode for work etc).
I'm sure you'll have a good time at your party and your b/f should attend to your every need while you are there.
